Anybody seen this movie? I am seeing it tonight.

Just tell me if its good or bad, if you wanna talk about the plot, please preface it with a *spoiler* tage so we who haven't seen it yet won't have it ruined

Good flick, imo. Hellboy is the best part, when he's not onscreen it's kinda meh. Except for the Nazi Assasin, he rules all kinds of ass.

I just got back from the movie theatere and here is my reveiw:

Premise:7 - A pretty cool premise, I thought. It is quite far fetched, but hey, it is comic book based, so I was expecting that. Big rip-off of Spawn though.

Plot:4 - Pretty weak, but not just horrendous.

Action:7 - Pretty good action, but sometimes the special FX are kinda distracting (in that they don't look natural, fluid, etc.)

Funny:4 - Couple of Funny scenes and lines, but overall just a bunch of cheesy one line zingers in the midst of combat. HellBoy's cursing can be humorus sometimes though.


Overall:5.5 - Not bad, but not great. There are lots of other movies that I would rather watch, but in the end I am glad I went to go see it, and I gues thats pretty much all I can ask from a movie...

The rest of my friends thought it was alright. Have to go see it for myself, though.

I agree with hamma. It just looks plain stupid. I'm not seeing it. The red dude with the chopped off horns looks like a cross between a human a bull. Some of the action sequences may be cool but i'm sure there are better ones in other movies.

I think the movie a couple posts ago was Van Helsing. I saw the preview thingy on HBO or something. I has hugh Jackman (wolverine) and its basically monster hunting. Looks pretty cool, and ill def cath it when it comes out.
