I just got back from a tounament for Battlefield: Vietnam at my local Computer Cafe, called Rivaloutions.

We had 4 teams of 7 going, made up of locals who signed up. 1300 tickets, 20 min round, forgot which maps. The layout was like this(i think)...

Team 1 vs. Team 3
Team 2 vs. Team 4
Team 1 vs. Team 3 (again)
Team 2 vs. Team 4 (again)
Team 1 vs. Team 3 (again again)
Team 2 vs. Team 4 (again again)
Final Round... Team ? vs. Team 4 (i don't know who we played, but we killed them.)

The first game my team(team 4) played, we lost by 2 tickets. Seriously a fucking close game. We would have got a flag that would of won us the game if we had 3 more seconds.

Second game, we won. We capped all the flags and grabs some sodas while the other teams tickets rolled down to 0.

Third game was a kinda close win, by about 75 tickets.

The final round was 40 mins. We were playing on The Seige of Khe San or something like that. We base hopped almsot th whole game, coming close to getting all the falgs about 10 times, but came out with a clean win with a difference of about 300 tickets. I came out on top of everyone, with 68 caps or whatever its called, 48 kills, 12 deaths.

Thing is, first time i ever played was yesterday, for about an hour. Today was the second time i ever played the game.

Won a shirt and an all-day pass. I'm going to try and get around to ordering the game tonight. :) I'll post pics of the shirt if you want.

Ya, m60, i think. The machine gun that comes with the L.A.W. on the US side, right? That fuckin setup is badass.

Well... the M60 comes with LAWs.... That shouldn't happen. It's overbalanced as it is right now, but they're nerfing the M60 to all Hell... btw, wtf is a ticket?

J/K, I just hate using <gasp> tactics just in order to compete with some assclown with an M60 running around sniping people with a freakin heavy machine gun...

I mainly play VC, and if I do play US, I stay far, far away from that thing.

Yuo wouldn't believe that tactics my team worked up during that short game. Half of our team hasn't even played the game yet, so even if they had the m60, they didn't know what they were doing. I did, though.

I tend to stay away from the M60 as much as I can (only use it when I need AT).

The M16 does it for me with its great accuracy, the only downfall is its clip.

Nice, the current plans for the M60 LAW Class is to give it a M14 instead of an M60. Seems fair to me since the RPG Class has a Type 56 <3

yea well thats just because it has homing bullets and by the time one hits me the next 50 do too and i cant react in time.
