Ok, I was wondering if a pheonix would be a good cert to get, they dont do alot of damage in VR, but i heard that they do alot of damage. I was just wondring if i could get some clarification...

The phoenix does shit for damage agains infantry thogh it can scarethem to running out of cover.

It is very nice agains maxes outdoors(3 hit kill), and same with vechs, near useless indoors however do to its huge reload, and against Air becasue it fles slower than a reaver. But the phoenix is very fun to use, and i like Batousai have had it scince the begining, even before i had rexo

It is a great weapon, however out of all the AV it has by a huge margin the slowest ttk. Thus it lends itself to groups, however for agile armor, deci works better.

I doubt it, but don't know for sure. Enhanced targetting does not work using the Phoenix so I was operating under the assumption that the other implants would not either, but I haven't had DL for a bit.

I love the Phoenix. Don't currently have it, don't get lots of kills with it, but it's still a great amount of fun. There are very few things that are fun to do in PS without getting xp as a reward, the Phoenix can be one of them.

While the Phoenix has some pretty notable drawbacks, it has many more advantages. So yeah, I'd go for it. Now I'll have one more Phoenix user to evade...

It was one of the first certs I picked up. That puppy has saved my ass on more than one occasion and I've racked up so many MAX kills it's absurd. It's a MAX's worst nightmare in my opinion. Anyways, the Phoenix is a really good weapon. If you're at a point where you're choosing between HA or AV and you're on the NC, pick AV ASAP. TR and VS think NC that have AV are SOB's and they want to nerf the phoenix. In my opinion, they need to MYOB, and they can all STFU, MF's.

The Darklight implant does work with the Phoenix but you cant see shit in front of you so your kinda flying blind. Its by luck if you find a AMS bubble using it. Besides its easier to use common sense and shoot a Phoenix in the direction were most of the baddies are coming from. :groovy:

Darklight DOES show enemy AMS's if you flicker it. It doesn't just show up and stay there. It pops out at you then goes back to inviso mode.

Yeah I love the pheonix. In terms of real combat I almost never get the chance to use it, though. I prefer the deci if I have to pick one. However, it is a TON of fun, and its amazing how many vanu maxes get pissed off when I 3-shot kill them while they think they're safe in their tree top or on a tower post. Muahahahahah!!! Time to die, all you vanu bastards!! I hate you all!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA--HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

I love it, it's just fun. it's been a few months since I used it and I can still hear the locked TR MAXs' *umf* when it hits them. you can hide somewhere, and shoot someone else who's hiding. you can hit an ams that's under one of those "bridges" between the main base building and the sides, you can fly through a tower door and hit a max on the other side.

my guess about NC finding your AMS's faster is that with the nix you can trace the endless flow of soldiers to it's source, and if it looks like they're comming from nowhere hit a suspicious spot. not that much of an advantage, but still a nice spy plane.

The striker may be the best AV with the shortest ttk I think (if they ever fix its lock on bug) but it certainly isnt the most enjoyable. I find myself looting pheonixes just for the pure fun of using them. You can be on the other side of a mountain fire it and arc it all the way into an enimey base and smack a MAX in the courtyard. Now with the AV ammo buff I can enjoy them even more now as I can get up to around 28 missles off a corpse and start launching away. AV is a good cert to get now that the Deci is AV also. Now if only they'd move the lightning to armor assault and the harasser to ATV. Then I can have my prowler and lightning too.
