Ask Corrosion hes got the cool change the menu bar colors and it also changes the color of windows explorer windows. Also ask Fragmatic Ive seen his desktop and its fairly cool looking. I dont have them myself because Im paranoid about game performance.

Google for uxtheme.dll :)

Basically, Windows themes had to be "signed", so 3rd party ones wouldn't work, but there is a little program Here (http://www.belchfire.net/article205.html) that does it. (it overwrites uxtheme.dll and enables 3rd party themes)

You can get themes from ThemeXP (http://www.themexp.org)

Trying out these themes now, hopefully they do not take any more CPU power to run (im paranoid can you tell)

I use StyleXP.

You can chage your theme, your XP skin, your login screen, and your boot screen with it.

I use a number of programs from WinCustomize.com
I suggest Windowblinds which enables you to change the look of your windows theme. ( you download the themes from the site)
There's also a program for changing your boot screen and another for log in screen.
Program names:
Stardock's LogonStudio
WindowBlinds
BootSkin

Window blinds and StyleXP use more resources than just replacing the .dll :P

And I know StyleXP is only a 30day Trial, dunno about WindowBlinds

Yea I am a little paranoid about resources as well, this thing isnt a beast. Frag's option seems to be the less intrusive program

StyleXP can run without using any resources. You can find a pack w/ the serial at suprnova or just pay for it like I did. :D

Windowblinds used to seriously slow down my system, and a friend of mine used styleXP, and it had a bunch of stupid errors that would come up after the 30 day trial was over, along with a little register me now window that starts on boot and never goes away. I wouldnt recommend either program as they each come with their fair share of annoyances.
