I used to play it, may start again soon. It's a damn good game, made better with the expansions and plug-ins.

I made an item called "Hand of god" it was a glove that cast a magic spell, one was an AOE heal that healed everything in the area, about 1 square mile, the other was a fireball that had the opposite effect.
I'm currently messing around in Mournhold. I still havn't found a main quest line.

OMFG I just started playing it again too. at this point Im just a Lvl 11 Warrior, with a nice set of bonemold armor and a iron longsword. I love this game. they huge game world, endless quests, its great. I never really commit myself to any particular quest. I just come and go as I please. I'd go do a quest for a fighters guild, then disappear for a while going off conquering dungeons and orc camps. then Id come home, selll the loot, and make a fortune. I have my own house in Caldera, which is decorated with some of my most prized treasures (glass armor, rare decorative bowl, a golden cup I found worth 100k gold on an alter in a cave, and so on). as of now I only do work for the Imperial cult (since Im high ranking) and the Thieves guild, so Im kind of a double agent.
the thieves guild is cool but its under a trapdoor in a storeroom in the basement in 1 of 8 megastructures of Vivee. Im thinking of taking on a whole town one day, and just conquering it all myself, and making it my personal kingdom, with my summoned minions running free in the open plains, and my pets sleeping in their own manor. god I love this game.
Bonemold is POS. Upgrade ASAP.
My reputation is at 56, so everyone pretty much kisses my ass.

Morrowind is indeed a great game, that was until I did everything possible in the game :o

I decided to play Morrowind as an archer to bring a bit more of a FPS feel to it. Already beat it once, and I am currently cheating the fuck out of it. I have a dwarven crossbow that deals an extra 15-20 fire damage per hit. Not to mention the ice damage "shard bolts" that I...aquired. I have yet to get either expansion, have DLed no plugins either. However, there's the "Mog Mod" (really slow in development, but looking highly polished), which adds the Moogle from the FF games as a new race (looks like a cartoony humanoid Moogle though) and new, beefy swords (including the almighty Buster variety).
Look at the Mog Mod off of the link at www.machall.com.

That game was fun!!!
If you want to have great fun, take Alchemy as a primary or secondary skill get about 2k in coinage and a potion making thingy (it's been awhile), go to Wolvereen hall (mage guild can port you) and talk to the guys at the imperial shrine and buy the components needed to make Enhance IQ potions.
Now make potions, as you make them, take them, effects stack, this takes awhile so be patient, also after the first 10-20 you'll be able to trade a single potion to . once you get you're IQ to about 3k start making Levitate and Enhance Strength potions.
Now go have fun. It's pretty killer to be able to take a single potion and fly from one end of the continent to the other in a matter of minutes.
you'll also get you're alchemy skill up in a hurry (when your IQ get's high enough you never fail to make a potion) so while the IQ ultra boost is in effect you can do no wrong, and make super powerful potions!
The first character I did this with was not really all that much fun to play, but just using it to make flight potions isn't that overpowering.
My other favorite thing I did was once I beat the main quest, and was getting ready to head out to Tribunal, I killed one of the boat workers if Vivec and took their clothes, then went to the house in Balmora and dropped off all my items except my one weapon and the clothes from the ferry amn in Vivec. It was kinda kewl playing the wandering warrior!

Ya, i wear gondolier clothes too. I like sneaking into forts at night, paralyzing all the sentries. And stealing all the stuff. If you don't have the expansion, get it. It makes the game very fun. When you go to mournhold you get to see the elite ordinaters, and the elite, elite ordinators. But to get into the mainquest you have to take out the assasin base. After that the story takes into swing.
I killed every assassin I could find... never got any new quests...

SDM, once you go into the the sewers under Great bazaar, you'll find their base. You have to kill their leader, he is located in the morel manor, north building. The manor is right inside the base, once you kill him, check his body for the assasination contract on your head, and you'll get a journal update.

You even humped The Last Living Dwarf's corpse?Living Dwarf's corpse is an oxymoron, moron. FYI, shit for brains, there are no living dwarves in Morrowind. Now STFU and suckle me like Aztec, you fuckball.
edit: I found it! Thanks Paingiver. I was thinking "this is the most boring expansion evar"

whoah, dude, derud. Talk about cheats, hand to hand skill 1000?
Derfud
2004-04-11, 10:31 PM
Yeah, I had to punch vivec's ass out, because having that much strength makes you break any weapon you use to attack. I never saved my cheated character, I would just go on cheating rampages and start randomly killing things.

Do you have pc version? I have xbox, which makes it hard to cheat. And if you think vivecs soul is good, you can get an even better one in the expansion tribunal!

How the hell did you make that? The only way you can get something like that without cheating is to kill king Helseth, which is freaking hard as crap. There are so many guards, and he has the most powerful ring in the game.
Must suck to have an Xbox
