A thought for a shortlasting implant that stops me getting shot in the sodding back constantly by exp whore own side players whenever advancing down a tunnel and an enemy appears in front of me.
Basically increased armour rating in back.

I think if you use personal shield effectively, it will basically do the same thing.

I agree with Crypt on this. Personal Shield and a well used medpack can save your ass real quick.

The real problem is that planetside does not use separate hitboxs, so the game does not distinguish from a shot in the back and one in the front. An implant that did, however give the user an extra 50 points of armor in any armor they use would be swell; the absorption would stay the same, just a lot more armor.
Standard with 100 hp and 100 armor. Drool. :D

No, there is already too much armor in this game.

So we'd have people with that, personal shield, rexo, and audio implant, crouching in a corner waiting for you?

ok fair comments people.
I can see some people would be maxed up with armour and the personal shield is probably just as effective.
