I love the new Redz 2004 gear. Redz sponsors the team i'm on so we have to wear it, which is ok with me as i have expressed in an earlier post. we got a new redz shirt, pants, and the new redz pack with the pods....for a mask i wear JT. i don't wear any gloves, i need to be able to feel the gun and the trigger for me to work well on the field.

Speedball, no matter what you, you will be spotted easily. the giant bunkers tend to be Supairs, which are big blow up balloon types things that is usually red and yellow, or some bright color. wearing camo that is of a different color would actually make you more visible. no matter what, it isn't hard to spot someone who moves even an inch out of there bunker. Speedball is not about hide and shoot, it is a fast paced game where the most aggressive team tends to be the victor....in speedball, unless your position is the back, you are aggressively moving up the field to get closer to your opponent so you have a better shot at him/her. the backs job is not even to hide, it is to put down suppressive fire so your team members, the ones who's position is the center of mid, can move up the field. Speedball is very tactical, more then people think...

My friends use Tippmanns, they're a close match. However, they have problems with the Flatline (Curved) barrel, and to clean the gun you have to crack it in half, literally.

Mine's easier to maintain and probably will shoot better, provided it doesn't stop.

The Flatline blows. Never seen such an unclean barrel that breaks so many balls. A Boomstick is much better than a Flatline.

the FREAK system is best barrel system out there right now..the DYE boomstick is a close second.

the flatline sucks...there is no doubt about that. it may make the ball shoot farther but it slows down the ball....greatly.

That would be because of the Co2 you are using. When you fire rapidly liquid Co2 makes its way into your valve. When you pull the trigger, the hammer, back bolt, what ever you want to call it opens the valve and the liquid then flash boils. Co2 boils at something like -2000 F. So that is causing your valve to not open the whole way for the next shot thus not pushing the ball as hard, fast and far for the ball to clear the chamber.
I�d rather a Spyder then the Tippmann 98....that is the worst gun they ever made...be happy you got the spyder....to me a walmart gun is not a gun at all, but most people have the walmart guns....they are good if you aren't gonna play much.
I wouldn�t say one was better than the other. They both have pros and cons. But if it was up to me I�d go with a 98c with the full auto electro kit. You might ask yourself now why would I say that since I said I didn�t care for full auto or burst modes. Well cause the kit replaces the back bolt with a very small, fast, and light metal rod. That drops the weight of the gun and since it�s small and light it can cycle faster. I�d just leave it on semi mode. Wouldn�t use it for full auto. That�s what the Pro team Tippmann Effect uses. They do very well against teams with cokers, matrices, angels, and what not.

Now as for spyders, there is a Pro Player named JC Whittinton. I think I might have messed up his last name. I think he has played for the Naughty Dogs if I remember correctly. He plays with an electro spyder. There have been articles in magazines about him and his spyder. That�s where I heard about him.
My friends use Tippmanns, they're a close match. However, they have problems with the Flatline (Curved) barrel, and to clean the gun you have to crack it in half, literally.

Mine's easier to maintain and probably will shoot better, provided it doesn't stop.
That�s true for the 98�s flatline. The A-5�s is much better. The 98�s is basically a proto type if you ask me. They really didn�t think everything through before the put it out for sale. They just wanted money. :(
the FREAK system is best barrel system out there right now..the DYE boomstick is a close second.

the flatline sucks...there is no doubt about that. it may make the ball shoot farther but it slows down the ball....greatly.

Here is the link to Deep Blue its self. http://www.automags.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=6 This is a place were some of the smartest people in paintball industry come to post about the science that is paintball. People like Tom Kaye of Air Gun Designs (AutoMags), Glen Palmer of Palmer Regs and guns, Collin something I can't remember his last name of LapCo barrels and many more very smart guys that spend a lot of money just on researching this stuff so that they can make better products and they are nice enough to post a lot of what they find for the public. True they might not post everything so they can keep the "edge" for their company, but you get the idea.

Now the link for the Ball Spin theory is in the Deep Blue section. It's stickyed at the top. I have yet to read it. My brother read it and was telling me what it basically said while we were working on his deck.

Bushy's and Cyborgs are my only choices for electric guns.....and still the 98c's suck...they can never be as good as a bushy...if you upgraded everything including putting on the RT trigger, it comes close to a bushy stock.....but still not close enough. Tippmanns are made more for rental guns, except for the A-5, which has one good feature to it, the warthog feed. they have teams out there that play for Tippmann and use 98c's and A-5 but those are stock competitions...and they use them because they are sponsored by tippmann...they put the 98 and 98c out there to compete against other walmart guns, such as spyder's and brass eagle (i may add brass eagles should stop making guns)....

Well they make Cases for you to carry them in partly for that purpose.....kinda like you carry a regular gun in a case when you're in public....its not about it being all colorful and stuff...key is to not blatently carry it out in public. alot of people don't know what a paintball gun looks like so they may mistake it no matter what. if you don't have a case, i suggest buy one :)

tippmanns can only be so good...their body and internal designs are primative, its open-bolt, meaning it sucks, and for god sakes, its a tippmann. you can upgrade and upgrade, but not to the point where its better then say, an impulse.

Yeah, that big feed on top, the CO2 system, and you wearing a mask and paint stains doesn't give it away.

That would be because of the Co2 you are using. When you fire rapidly liquid Co2 makes its way into your valve. When you pull the trigger, the hammer, back bolt, what ever you want to call it opens the valve and the liquid then flash boils. Co2 boils at something like -2000 F. So that is causing your valve to not open the whole way for the next shot thus not pushing the ball as hard, fast and far for the ball to clear the chamber.

All I know is that a MFer I play with has a 98c with a repsonse trigger, Flatline, and autofeeder. And probably a wallhack. It's like fighting the fucking Viet Cong, except he's fat- has to be 300 lbs because he's my dad's friend. The key is to not be seen and flank him, I've gotten him twice like that.
