whoa. "can fit inside the readme of UT2k4" those are really good graphics for a game like that

Too bad the game blows. It's the tripiest sack of tripe in all of tripetown. No crosshairs and the most evil sfx. Still, 98 KB for a game that detailed is insane.

Fragmatic, have you downloaded/ unzipped it? Or played it? It seems very fishy to me..
My reasons...
Just physics engines require much more coding than a readme would ever need. (ie. more than 96k, even when zipped.)
And texture maps require WAY more than that (about 1Kb each). Zip files aren't THAT amazing....

It unzips like 1.5 gigs when you start it. Not sure how it works still.

3. system requirements
----------------------
.kkrieger requires a relatively high-end machine to run properly. To be
precise:
- A 1.5GHz Pentium3/Athlon or faster.
- 512MB of RAM (or more)
- A Geforce4Ti (or higher) or ATI Radeon8500 (or higher) graphics card
supporting pixel shaders 1.3, preferably with 128MB or more of VRAM.
- Some kind of sound hardware
- DirectX 9.0b

Holy jebus. that's got pretty good graphics for something compressed so much...
Works a bit like the Amiga's compression system, I guess.

It uses textures you already have on your pc, ones that are with Direct X

if it unzips 1.5gb, does that stay on my computer?

Is it bad when I can draw the crosshair with my eyes and hit the enemies every single time?

It's not a compressor. As stated, hte game uses textures and shit that are already on your pc. Sure, there is a high rate of compression, but it's all well coded stuff.

You know doom didnt use a physics engine, right...?

FOR FUCKS SAKE
It's not meant to be a good game, it's not meant to run well, it's not meant to be the next fucking Doom 3/HL2/Far Cry beater, it's just a fucking tech demo to show you that they can make a game like that with 96k of code for fucks sake.
Picky bastards.
