I thought of sticking this in the same thread as the GeForce 6800 Ultra, but it's so impressive it deserves a thread all its own.
This is a demo of the third generation Unreal Engine running on a GeForce 6800 Ultra. The graphics are unreal. (literally)

I think some of the most interesting things the guy said were:
When they started developing this engine 18 months ago, the fastest graphics cards could only run it at 2-5fps. Hell, it looked like even the 6800 Ultra was strugging to keep it at 30fps.
The first character they showed has more polygons than an entire level in the original UT. Really shows how far graphics have come in just a few years.
