Our highest holiday of the year is Yom Kippur. the day of repenting our sins. we fast for 24 hours, no food, no drinks, Medicine is an exception. we go to temple like you would go to church, except for we sit there all morning (8:00am - 12:00), have a 2 hour break, then back to temple (2:00 - sunset when you break the fast).

If you lived in israel and are a ***, tradition is you put bread crumbs in your pocket and go to the red sea and throw them in the red sea. the bread crumbs are the symbol of your sins. throwing them into the sea symbols getting rid of your sins.

They change the rules for a reason: to improve it. Had you learned a little bit of church history you would realize the following:

A: The medieval churches drifted away from communities as masses and such became more of a ceremony than a celebration.

B: We passed Vatican II to make things new again. The Latin mass, for example, was originally intended to make it understood for everyone. Now, having it in a dead language is inane, so it was changed.
