Which do you think is better?
Mechanical "fucking lead just broke" or just plain ol' regular "i gotta sharpen this fucking thing" style pencils? Which is your preference?

Mechanical.
They both have lead. Lead will always break no matter what pencil it is in. With a old fashioned pencil you have to get your lazy ass up and sharpen it. With a mechanical one you just press a button once or twice.
....what the hell is the point of this thread anyway?

not much point to it. just, what's the preference? some people in here draw, i'm sure. i'm sure everyone here has taken a standardized test. everyone's used one or the other in their life, so, which do you think is better? sometimes threads can be trivial, you know?

I use mechanical when I sketch, and regular wooden pencils when I'm actually drawing.

i prefer pen, usually, but that's mostly because when i scan pen drawings to photoshop they look fucking sweet and are really easy to edit, color, and what not. pencil doesn't show up so well. but, if i'm gonna doodle with a pencil, i use a mirado black warrior.. those damned things never seem to bust a tip. plus, really good for shading.

I use mechanical pencils during math because my teacher is such a nazi about letting kids get up from their chairs. Pen in everything else that requires real writing
I prefer pens but when I need to use a pencil I like mechanical because you always have to sharpen non-mechanical ones because they get dull really fast. And my writing looks really sloppy with them.

I prefer regular pencils, I like the way a sharpened real pencil looks. (in terms of drawing, writing, etc.) I use mechanical for school, however, since I don't have to get up and down to sharpen everytime it breaks. Overall I like regular better tho.

Regular pencils, since I find that mechanical pencils smear everywhere. Sometimes I use a fountain pen.

I prefer pens for non-math and science work, but when doing math and science, I need a good sharpener. 90% of sharpeners blow ass and leave half unsharpened, and my handwriting sucks, so I need a fine line. Mechanical all the way.

Mechanical All the way, especialy for drafting and such. Also for writing papers.
I have a realy nice one that i got for my drafting class, made of aluminum so its light and it has a nice grip on it. I used to get cramps and stuff but now i don't.

Wood. I get tired of asking for .5 led. I rather just find a pencil on the ground and use it. Its free.

No no, I meant, you forgot to put it in her quote.
I imagine that along with the words "boobs", "penis", "boyfriend", "bed" and "butt sex", she probably uses a lot of graphical smilies.
