scary thing is, i think the drawing is correct, but thats for traveling interdimensional, see, normal space is curved, hella curved, imagine a straight line, in reality, that line is in a U shape, and when you pass through a alternate dimension (not paralel- universe) you can travel from point a to point b without having to go the "long way" but take the short cut and jump across. theoreticaly of course. but thats if he was drawing that, it could have been a highly complex pretzel.

There is no dominating theory of the shape of space as far as I know atm. Could be curved, could be straight, nobody really knows, like alot of things in our universe.
