What server? I was on justice, and there was no network lag, maybe your computer?

The netcode is pretty amazing, I was only recieving 2.5kb/s of data on average (Max was 5kb/s) and uploading 1kb/s average (max was 2kb/s)

Makes it pretty friendly for 56kers

The event rocked. Was a total blast, even with Freedom absolutely hammered and lagging in the big battles. It was the first time I've seen Freedom (Prime) with 3 red dots. I spent the entire battle in Galaxy City 1, and they gradually increased the Rikti levels from 8 to 20 and eventually 34. At 34 we were all just bodies watching them run roughshod through the city. Apparently on some servers they actually took over the hospital so if you were silly enough to spawn it was instant death. The damn NPCs showed more tactics than most players.

fuck i missed that part, oh well. i was talking to a guy on ventrilo, said that at one point they took over city hall, and on the server i was at, it was a pretty orginized battle. i think there was a dev there orginizing the fight on the rikti side, but im not sure.

fuck i missed that part, oh well. i was talking to a guy on ventrilo, said that at one point they took over city hall, and on the server i was at, it was a pretty orginized battle. i think there was a dev there orginizing the fight on the rikti side, but im not sure.

Supposedly multiple devs. If you ever ran across any of the NPCs that showed like a player (Level 8 Natural Blaster) it was supposedly a dev. I fought the level 8 guy and hit him with about 20 shots and did 0 visible damage to him. There were only 2-3 of us hammering him at the time. Later about 50 heroes were hitting him at once and it became clear we had to destroy the weird shield around him, which we did, and then he dropped quickly.
