New idea for an RPG

Ok ok I know, I dont ever post here but I read these boards ever other day, anyways.

This is my idea, an online RPG thats High School. Only the social asspect of it anyway. For example you make a character and you have a class like: Geek or Jock and you have RPG like characteristics like Strength, Intelligence, Outgoingness, ect. So you go around and get items and stuff thats like high school only RPG style like you get assignment you have to do on a computer but first you have to get your password then you have to go talk to the techy people, they send you to like a closet or something to find a janitor cause the techys have locked themselves out of their office. Then you get other characteristics for the way you act like you write some depressing poetry "+3 darkness points, you become a goth."

Anyways I just came up with this at lunch and thought I'd share.

It sounds interesting. It really does. But I won't play it cause it's too normal. I want to have a big gun and killing a big ass of a dragon in my games. My rocket launcher would kill the babydragons and my super anti fire shield would hold up the fire of its mouth.


I couldn't use a rocket launcher in this highschool game, right? :confused:

Yeah after I thought about it for awhile I'm like hell its just like the Sims (worst game ever). But hey you know it was one of those "you know what would be cool" type of things. Anyways thanks for the feedback.

I like your idea man.... you could do stuff like pull pranks and stuff you couldn't do in real life but you want to. You could have classes like geeks, punks, jocks, goths etc. and have ongoing clashes between them. I like your idea.

yea I think the idea. Ive thought of RPGs (singleplayer) where you go through high school and stuff. but this is way cooler. they need to do this.

high level characters would be like popular kids or something. I think the janitor, teachers, and principal should be NPCs. better yet, make it in a town, with a high school (main point of the town) deli, clubs, teenagers house where everyone gets their weed (every town has one) maybe like a movie theater, mall, stuff like that. you can lose education points by not coming to school sometimes. or get a detention. something like taht.

Well I like the ideas, and heck anything could happen I mean its like high school only you can start over or be a different person litterally.

Yeah I should send this idea in to some sort of company but I'm not much into the RPG thing all I play is FF11 so I dont know any of the companies except Square Enix, and SOE of course.

The whole highschool thing is ambitious, and sounds great... really! But I think we would all be much happier with a version of SW:G that doesnt suck.

Uh...I don't know about you guys. But when I was in highschool (the target age group for most games), I did not want to be there. Why would anybody want to play a game about something they actually do? People play games to do things that they can't do in real life, like run around in the streets shooting terrorists. Or commanding armies of alien destruction.

Sorry to put down the idea, but I just don't think it would make a good game. Not to mention there are too many RPGs already.

Now if there was a god game, where you got to be god of the school, and you could build new sections, create new classes, maybe eventually upgrade to a university, compete with other schools, and possibly kill people at will. That would be fun :D.
