View Full Version : Flail - Lazing a Target

I can Flail well. I know the shot goes slightly below the centre of the reticule, I know my lead times and firing arc. I also know that any Reaver / Lib / Mos that doesnt keep moving whilst firing at me is dead. However, there is one thing I cant work out and thats the use of the targetting lazer. So, I have a few questions :)

1. Can the lazer be used by the driver reliably, or is it best left to squad mates?

2. I know that other people's targetings show up for all flail users, but the longevity of the target is odd to me. Sometimes ill have a target put up by someone else that lasts for hours, whereas a member of my squad will do one and it lasts less than a minute after they put the lazer targeter away.

3. When using the targets put up by other people, where do I aim exactly? I know it relies heavily on the accuracy of the person who lazed the target, but it seems to me that even if this is accurate and I fire directly inbetween the arrows my shots do not fall exactly.

Thanks.

1. I don't think it'll work as you're not in the flail when you add the target. That said I've only ever tried using the flail's targetting laser in VR training :)

2. No idea, perhaps it's a bug.

3. Perhaps the accuracy is off, but you should have to aim between the arrows. Sometimes people aren't aware that the targetting laser doesn't go that far out from the pointer, and perhaps they haven't targetted properly.
