Original PlanetSide CD's not for sale?!

Ok, I went ahead and bought myself an all acess pass yesterday for EQ, EQOA and PlanetSide. Problem is, I didn't have the PlanetSide cd, so today, I went to look for it. I went there, and they told me that they have halted sales on the original and are only selling the expansion pack. They also said Sony had plans of getting rid of this game totally, in replace for a new type of game. What the hell is going on here. How can they sell the expansion, but not the original game? Even the Store on this site says the original is out of stock to prove what I'm saying. Anyway, is there anyway possible that I can buy this PlanetSide the original. I am open to an account, but I kinda need the cd's to start one.

Most online retailers sell it, perhaps buy it from amazon or something using the link from PSU.

EB, defintley! my favourite place ever! but i did get the last copy, so thats not a good sign, or it might be... heh

best buy might also have it... i dunno, the one here doesn't. but, if it's not on the shelve, just ask a salesmen. it might be in the storeroom or something.

EDIT: oh yeah, and mag-mower, EB is probably my favorite place (other than home) too.

You could download a 7 day trial, get the software that way.

I thought they got rid of the 7 day trial. I downloaded it the other day, and it said there were too may people and it wouldn't let me, after all that waiting, nontheless.
