Ok for health class I have to do a project, its required everyone to do one, they are graded with the same criteria and you can pick different types, such as essays or posters, whateveryou want, and a topic from a list.
Tell me if this is fair or not. This project was assigned Thursday, it is due tomorrow last period. Other people in my class have the project due ranging from May 3rd to May 13. So how come he let other people have more time than I do? I really don't get it. I find this extremely unfair that I have to work on a project that is due way before other projects in the same class.

be absent until you finish it...
EDIT: Clarification: You are extremely stressed by the small time limit placed on you, and distressed by the fact that other people in the same class have a further off due date... the stress is giving you migranes and has caused a stomach ulcer, for which the doctor recommends a few days off to calm yuor stress... there you go, just have to get a doctor's diagnosis...

I've had projects with similiarly staggered due dates, but they are generally due over the course of just a few days, not weeks. There were also assigned at least a week or two ahead of the first deadline, so everyone had enough time to work on it.
So yeah, super unfair. Revolt!

Ok well i just finished it. I wrote an essay on teen violence and how my school does a good job on preventing it. Its 848 words and 3 pages double spaced.
If this were for english it would probably earn a C by my teachers standards. But its a health teacher whos the type of guy who hates school and writing so he should like it.
I think I over reacted about this whole thing. However i started writing this about the same time as i started this thread. So that was a pretty easy project and I didnt do any research on it, I just wrote about the psychological aspect of violence from my observations and prior knowledge.
I was originally going to make a poster with all this research and stuff, but that would taken too long, i would have been here for hours doing it. I'm sure that the value of this outweighs a poster that I would have spent too much time making pretty. Thats the whole point, if I were to make a poster it would have taken waaay too much time. Since I am decent at english and writing essays I made this easy, but for the few people that have it due tomorrow are probably freaking out. Alot of people got the project deadline to may 13 or a bit earlier.

Maybe your teacher hates you. But go with the advice of everyone else.

wasn't this a "creative assignment"? you know, the type you can do anything you want as long as you get the information across?
2 years ago (10th grade) I got a 50 something (out of 100) in the only literature test that semester, but the teacher let anyone who wanted a better grade do a "creative assignment" on oidepus, so I did one (took 15 mins to rip pics off google and write names under them) and the teacher really liked it, so he told me I can do another one for an even better grade. because I don't care enough I just took a pokemon gameboy game rom and changed the file name from pokemon_red.gb to oidepus.swf and handed it on diskette. he couldn't open it but he blamed it on his non existant computer skills, and game me a 100 in the report card.
p.s: make sure you invision the flash movie and talk about it a few times before handing it in, so you have a very good backstory.

youi didnt make any sense there whatsoever
anyways i didnt revise or edit the paper at all and it kinda sucked, but it stimulated a good class discussion which was pretty long so he should give me a good grade, its health anyway so its pass or fail it doesnt matter
