Changed certain properties in the texture loading process that would cause stuttering and a reduction in framerates. This should result in smoother graphical performance, particularly after first loading a continent.
THANK YOU DEVS!
Can't wait for the new vehicle variants either :)

Well it seems to help the massive amount of stuttering that occurs when you first jump onto a continent and enter a base etc. I dunno where else it will help, guess just general stuttering.

the striker is a piece of shit right now.. this will make the locker full of 'em that i've got worth having. hahaha.
aside from that, i've got ground transport: i can't WAIT for the new Deliverers.. i really think they should fix the sunderer though. it needs more armor. heh. two mags can tear the battle bus up in about ten seconds. I thought the sund was supposed to be a mobile fortress. ??

Awesome news about the different lag issues, shows that im not the only one having these 10 sec freeze ups. And even better are the new vehics. The standard Deliv is nice and fun and with even more gunner seats it will be even more awesomes for the NC and TR. Not sure what to make of the VS yet as i dont really understand who it works. But yay for new free stuff!!!!

that last one should make earlydawn happy he's always complaining about framerate drops from that patch

I never complained about framerate. I was having a packet loss issue on one of my hops to the PS server.
