Post your Infiltraitor Pet-Peeves.
1) Being used as a meat shield by a "commrade".
2) Being run over by a friendly when you are not on the road and have been in the same spot for several minutes, but he never bothers to check the radar or actually look.
3) Several enemy's pop out of a tower, you go still, and the engineer puts up a spitfire too far for you to disable (out of jammers) but close enough to waste you.
4) Following the rush of troops into a base, you head for the control console and whip out the REK when you realize as your getting shot up, no one bothered to give you cover while you hack the base.
5) Using the confusion of battle to cleverly get to an enemy AMS and very sneak like you whip out the REK to jack it, when you get nailed by the friendly Orbital Strike/Tank/etc.
6) Sneaking into an enemy Tower/Base while the battle rages outside only to get killed by a noob who was just testing out his weapon.
7) Forgetting to cloak.
8) Running out of jammers.
9) Running smack into another cloaked infiltraitor/wraith.
10) Spend a lot of time to be discrete and quiet to head up the back way of a hill to nail some enemies, only to find out they are all MAX units.

Being sniped as an inf always sucks.
On the other hand, as a grunt I gbet annoyed when an inf runs around(friendly) a CC during a heavy attack, as it gets a lot of people antsy and they may TK the inf, damaging others along with them.

1) Being run over in the middle of nowhere, not in a road or in the way, but some brainless newb comes flying over a hill in a skyguard/harrasser/atv/prowler/ant/...etc. and lands on top of me. HOW ...I dont know, but it happens to me more than I like.
2) Being visible on interlink radar...
3) Standing still in a base and watch enemy troops run by, then one without darklight on turns, casually walks over to me, "hail!" *BAM*
4) Sliding down a hill into a spitfire
5) Snipers who take a full clip of an amp and somehow turn around and kill me (lag? hack? I dunno...)
6) When a boomer fails to kill the re-exo hacking the base cc
7) Running out of aces/ammo and reaching a resupply point only to get hit by an orbital strike
8) being on a killing streak without dying of 23-0 than being a tk'ed by a n00b teammate who thought "U R AN ENEMY SPY !1" (this should be # 2)
note* I then proceeded to tk this fellow until he left the continent, I got him 17 times before I left, 8 of which were in a row, at the same spawn tube
9)Being run over while crossing a road and I could have SWORN I didnt see a vehicle there...
10)Being run over by accident
11) Taking damage from running down stairs (wtf SOE)
12)Trying to run cross country on ishunder
13) Being tked
14) Being tked
15) BEING TKED

Hehe, the bug that allows snipers to see cloakers in there scopes is back. It feels so wrong, but it is still fun.

1- That I can't even hack doors without Sensor Shield dropping. I can understand terminals and the CC, but let me keep my sensor shield up when cracking door locks.
2- That Sensor Shield drains stamnia. I kind of agree with the need for it now, but it's still annoying. On the flip side, it's cool to have to shut it down and "lay low" while you recharge for a while.
3- That the "detection" indicator on the HUD dosen't seem to work right. It shouldn't show up when I'm in the range of detection, only when I *am* being detected. I'd prefer a system that gives you a multifaceted display that tells me what could *potentially* detect me in the area, what actually *is* detecting me, and, combining all the detection sources, what I need to do to be totally invisable.
5- The current darklight system. I can't wait to see what the devs do with it. I'm hoping that it'll function more like an emitter, rather then a detector, or a flare gun a la Final Fantasy. Infiltrators within a certain area of the flare get lit up. Come to think about it, that would be a nice counterbalance for snipers, an area of effect "darklight emitter" round to help out his/her squad. ::writes down for later::
6- Three words for ya. Chain. Linking. Boomers. As in, I want it.
7- Speaking of which... more demolitions. Maybe give CEs some new stuff, take the boomer (leave the mine with CE) and add some new explosives to a "Demolitions" cert, like a timed charge, laser trip mines, and new types of grenades. A designator beacon grenade for airstrikes comes to mind, as does a phosphorus grenade for "dusting" cloakers. Maybe some hand held countermeasures for Beyond BR 20.
8- Second Pistol slot. This has been confirmed for the Elite abilities, in some shape or form.
9- Grenade slot. Also confirmed for Elite abilities, but I think it'll be more of a grunt thing, so we'll see if we get it.
10- Flawed focus. The Infiltrator focus is not so much "flawed", but misguided. I'd prefer more of a intelligence gathering focus on the infiltration suit itself. Basically, the suit should help you get in and out. If you want to sabotage, get Demolitions. If you want to be a sapper, get grenades. If you want to resupply while you're at it, hacking. But I don't think the suit, itself, should have a "focus". If anything, it's focus should be concealment and ease of infiltration (built in sticky gloves, energy grappling hook, or throwable, rechargable teleporter, anybody?). Beyond that, get the certs that facilitate using that stealth to your advantage.

my pet peeve for infil is:
1.when they run in front of my jackhammer while im going into the spawn room and then the infil sends me a tell saying "wtf why did u TK me" and stuff similar to that.

being tked in general
it would be lovely if infils only cloaked to enemy units so snipers know what the hell they are shooting
also i'd love for all vehicles to have a damn insta break whenever their front bumper comes within 5m of an infil cause it seems whenever i am lurking in the woods amongst enemy troops searching for their ams a friendly lightning or MBT homes in on me
also having grunts use me as meat shields. for gods sake if i am lurking away from the main battle to go around and hack the enemy tower I am NOT doing this so u can draw run right towards me and bring enemy fire in my direction.

1.) hot dropping in a base and not being seen but also for some reason not being able to see any names, DL icon, or health and armor with enhanced targeting... nothing. And i know about pressing alt+N and that's not the problem.
2.) forgeting to cloak... one time i was cloaked sneaking out of the force dome on some tr waiting to get in when i got the "You have left the world" message. reloaded the game real quick and was in the same spot just not cloaked! I crouch walked straight up to this one guy and he just watched me the whole time and right when i was in striking distance he shot me in the head with a shot gun.
"being a cloaker is alot more effective when you cloak" is the tell i got shortly after

Damn...Wraith and Early already got to the hate list before me. Half of those pet-peeves are ones that you shouldn't even be encountering or just a fluke.

1. Getting boomered by a friendly infil while I am killing tr/vs. Especially if it happens after I kill said tr/vs.
2. Having to deal with warpy-as-shit friendly cloakers and trying not to 1-hit-kill them while still killing enemies.
3. Getting boomered by any friendly infil in general. Especially if I am in a scatmax clearing a spawn room. *boom-shink-boom-shink >dead<boom-shink-boom-shink >dead< boom-shink-boom-shink >dead<* <ACE deploys> *KABOOM* (Oh shit! there went almost all my armor! Crap! suppressors/mcgs/cyclers hurt!) %$#@

1. getting lashed to hell by some friendly who is spamming randomly into the air.
2. I also have to agree with the ones about being near an enemy ams and being killed by an os/tank/(reavers and flails too), AMP not being enough to kill a rexo sniper everytime(yes, a full magazine, all bullets hitting), same sniper seeing me surge miles away and getting a headshot and then sending me a tell about how I glow like a christmas tree.

I've done that before!! I pretended I couldn't see this Cloaker, and when everyone was shouting "cloaker" I ran around shooting around him. Then i stood still, and waited for him to start creeping up to me, I turned my back on him. waited for a second turned round. and said: "You'll get better in time" then shot him with a beamer.

There is a simple solution to not getting killed by an AMS that you are trying to jack when it blows up: dont try to jack it. I know, sometimes it may be in the middle of nowhere and you have the perfect opportunity to jack it when some reaver spots it and starts shooting at it but at that point the reaver could probably kill the ams before you could jack it anyway. Just back away and if he gets shot down, move back in a try and jack it again. I am by no means saying that you shouldnt try and jack it, in fact people should be more careful to make sure someone isnt jacking it before they start shooting it up. But if you dont want to die, it would probably be a better strategy to move away when someone is shooting it b/c you know they either dont care that you are jacking or dont know.
When I spot an AMS I check radar and the ground to make sure no friendlies are jacking it before I start shooting at it, but if it is heavily contested with lots of people shooting at it, just back away b/c you know its going to blow up.

They need to reduce the effective range of spitfires against infils. I know the implant exists, but it's just annoying how far range the spits are, and how much they'll fire after you stop moving.

infils should be completely undetectable when crouch walking, except for visual sighting, or Darklight, motion detectors and interlink facils and whatnot should be null and void if you're crouch walking.

Counter Points: My two characters detailed in my signatures are a full out specialized infiltrator and a full out heavy grunt. So I see Infiltrator problems from both the infiltrator and the non-infiltrator perspectives.
2) Being run over by a friendly when you are not on the road and have been in the same spot for several minutes, but he never bothers to check the radar or actually look.
Not to defend all drivers, but motionless infiltrators are very hard to see. Add to this the fact that because the green friendly player names are not visible until you put your reticule on them you dont have any peripheral vision when it comes to infiltrators in/near your path.
Also, roads are rarely where you should be driving every CE mines them and every Reaver salivates at vehicles driving in the open and in a predictable pattern (you have to lead a lot with the slow Reaver rockets). So "off roading" is more common than you think. Try and stay out of probably vehicle paths not just off of roads.
My advice here is to take some of the responsibility and keep an eye in friendly vehicles. They cant easily see you and many times have problems of their own. Many times vehicles are either rushing to get to a battle or are in a battle of some sort (either engaging or running from an enemy).
3) Several enemies pop out of a tower, you go still, and the engineer puts up a spitfire too far for you to disable (out of jammers) but close enough to waste you.
Spits + Interlink benefits suck. A cloaker placing one near a grunt sucks just as bad as when a grunt does it to a cloaker.
4) Following the rush of troops into a base, you head for the control console and whip out the REK when you realize as your getting shot up, no one bothered to give you cover while you hack the base.
You cant rely on the zerg masses to think about anything past their own nose. It therefore is your responsibility to make sure the area is clear. Additionally, you may want to try audio amp and or 3rd person perspective to help spot danger while hacking. Finally, try getting into a good squad/platoon/outfit and having a buddy cover you. Planned coordinated teamwork always wins.
5) Using the confusion of battle to cleverly get to an enemy AMS and very sneak like you whip out the REK to jack it, when you get nailed by the friendly Orbital Strike/Tank/etc.
This is a combination of bad timing and urgency. Typically if gunning for a tank Ill risk taking out a friendly cloaker if I know I can kill a critical AMS. Sometimes Im torn between killing a friendly or letting a group of enemies live. I usually choose to smash the enemy and hope the friendly realizes its time to RUN.
Now for my pet peeve about cloakers:
Cloakers who get in the way in CQB. If you are a heavy grunt and are facing a enemy heavy grunt when a friendly cloaker runs between you a nasty choice is forced upon you. Because cloakers fall so quickly to HA there are only really 2 probable outcomes of this situation:
1. You hold fire so as to not splatter the cloaker and the enemy butchers the cloaker and you.
2. You nail the cloaker and take out the enemy behind him. Now you get to savor your victory and enjoy some free grief and hate tells from the goober cloaker who got in the way and forced that decision on you.
Moral of the story: Dont get in the way when the big boys are fighting. You wont help the fight, but will get yourself and teammates killed.

There was a choice?
I never hold fire, you just hope the infli shields you from weapon fire and not the other way round (well he is suppose to be friendly). It's so annoying when you end up dying with the Infli...waste of life...

I am a full on cloaker. I don't even have medium assualt! The whole point of being a cloaker is to pretty much stay away from the main fight. (other than killing snipers and any target cocky enough to stay in one spot for too long) but if your a cloaker and you go running into a battle and try to fight along side REXO against nme REXO you deserve to die.
However, being a support cloaker with adv med or engy. that's a different story. sometimes your needed to support your squad or any friendlies trying to fight. just try and stay out of the thick of things
Bottom line is: If you are a cloaker and an nme see's you... chances are your going to die.
