Oddfish, Setari, and I Hate Pants have all just been banned. What is wrong? What did they do? This is getting completely out of control. Let's not see good people banned without some reason.

They spammed forums, and then the other forumers came over here and spammed.
the reasons have been removed because they were offensive/contract violating. read around. your answers are out there.

Christ, this is so out of control. When did all of this happen? Aztec and ViperGTS are down, too.

OfaLoaf, too. God, this is awful. I'm leaving in a bit, I don't know if I'll return. If you need to contact me, do so at

2 days... were they notified that that's how long it was? If not they may still be leaving. 2 days will be fine for me, but no perma bans.

You act like its the apocalypse. They were only banned because of their reckless actions. They instigated a conflict with *******, and ******* retaliated. Therefore both parties were punished.
Edit: Just realized ******* is censored, so we shall just call them the team which derives their name from god who will not be named.

My problem is that these were active, respectable members. Most of you people I have never seen here before, they may not mean as much to you as to someone who's been an active poster here.

So what if they were active. They still broke the rules. Why does it matter that they are active respectable members. I think they're cool guys too, but rules are there for a reason.

OKAY.
Far be it from me to make demands, but I think it would be fair if they were all given amnesty. They're all sorry for what they did, and the forums have been a very... turbulant place lately. So Let's all cool it and give them a chance to right their wrongs?

My point was that turning over the ban would cool the place down a little. That's all I'm interested in.

They were members of the community who knowingly instigated and raided another teams forums, for reasons unknown to me. These are members who have dragged PSU's and the communitys name through the mud. Their ban is 2 days as of now, if anything happens again they are gone for good.

Let's all piss and moan because we've seen that no one is above the law (except admins). Let's all go off half-cocked because a bunch of kiddies went and started a board-war and were told or advised on several different threads to cut it out.
I just took a piss, and I was moaning because it burns. Happy?

How bad was the damage they did? I mean how many spam posts, what was the general content, etc.
And Vicchio, tell Headrattle to read my PM and respond to it in the post.

Bad enough to get a ban obviously. It was disrespectful to the community, and it needed to be resolved. Hamma did only what was fit.

They made three to four, maybe more threads about random crap. Their spam contained lots of insults directed to Team.God and God.Joey, and were clearly intended to disrupt TG's forums as much as possible. I'm surprised that they weren't banned earlier, since I do not believe that any PSU member should conduct such behavior.

Okay, I just want to say, that before anyone starts going thread-creating happy, read some of the current threads, maybe they'll answer your questions so the rest of us don't have to read a post about how someone threatens to leave(by the way, how was this suppose to help?) unless a bunch of idiots gets unbanned from a two day ban.
I'm so unbelievably tired of reading threads like this. If you do something stupid, expect punishment. I don't see how anyone could not understand this. Oh, I have a great idea, why don't you start a petition thread.

Its funny when someone starts holding people accountable for their actions how others get upset. If you break the standards, you will bear the consequences. Hats off to Hamma for maintaining the standard and having the integrity to do whats right (again) even when it is unpopular - my respect for him grows every day.

I agree, Hamma has worked hard at beginning PSU and Maintaining it...Everyone should think about that... when you are part of the PSU community you should respect and act respectable to other communities , cuz in the end if you act like "asshats" it dosent just make you look stupid it degrades the PSU Community. come on people lets just all get along with every community as well ;)

The thing is, yes they did do some bad stuff. but then like a day or two ago aztec made a thread saying that he, and the other people arent going to do it anymore. then i cant remember who but they said that they might do it on a different cp and then aztec said "no, no more". so the way i see it, yes they did do some bad things but i seriously think that aztec shouldnt have been banned. I am behind PSU all the was to the end and Hamma did what he had to do. But i just think aztec deserved a little better, even tho it is only a two day ban.

Actions have Consequences (so does not paying attention in spelling class)
If The Team that shall not be named had not come here and spammed Gay Porn all over PSU then Hamma would not have had to punish Aztec and the others. Yes they knew what they did was STUPID, yes they were contrite. If nothing had come of it then it all woulda been good.
But the actions they took directly effected the quality of this site (for a thankfully brief time, but still) And with all the You know Who threads popping up late last night it's not over... and knowing TG will not be over for a very long time.
The actions of Aztec and company have lowered the quality of this site... Their action directly lead to the consequence of TG spamming away with Penis picks...
A 2 day ban in my oppinion is light. I wouldn't second guess Hamma on this kinda thing, but were it me I woulda looked for a little more time then that (the aforementioned Contrite-ness probably had alot to do with that!
Anyway... that's my 2 cents... I look forward to those guys returning and then we can all joke about all the fun Gay Porn they missed while in exile!

When people act like kids, they inevitably get in a twist at whoever they force into the parenting role. I suppose at least Hamma will be well-practiced for whenever he does have kids. People arguing a two day ban is absolutely sad, though. It's two freaking days, they'll live.

The did get off easy...then again, it is <censored> and after going over to read some of thier posts....I felt dumber....that alone warrants a min of two days. :p
Plus this has to be the worst "Board Attack" I've ever seen. C'mon the least you could do is PM people who you think would be willing participants. Go to Hotmail, Lycos, or Yahoo and create some dummy accounts and use DIFFERENT screen names. Nor should you even post ANY evidence of your activities in a PUBLICLY viewed Board. Go to MSN and create one there and make it priviate to discuss your activites...sheeesh...
Edit: Now I'm wondering it I should have gave out that info so publically... :scared:

Duck, we brought it upon ourselves. We had no planning whatsoever. If we had, we would've PMed each other, gone to this abandoned forum I have, planned ahead, and probably would've attacked today or last night.
However, instead we rushed in, keeping our PSU names, and expected little retaliation.
The third choice was not to go in at all, which would've been the morally superior choice in this case, but we didn't even think of that.
Furthermore, I would like to take this opportunity to thank Hamma and all the PSU staff for their mercy in not perma-banning us.

Whether or not posting it here prolly didn't matter. The team that has a name referring to god would've tracked Aztec's name to this forum. It might have stopped them from spamming the forum... wait, this is starstarstarstarstar we're talking about :p
