If there was one game you could want being developed that isn't being developed(that we know of) what would it be? Keep it realistic and attainable if possible
I'd love PlanetSide2(my unattainable dream would be a babylon 5 MMOFPS/spacecombatsim/rpg/economicgame)

Diablo3 MMORPG, if they could keep the Diablo2 flavor.

StarCraft2 MMOFPS, like Planetside, perpetual 3way war. Protoss/Zerg/Terran

I'll never figure out why the picked WarCraft to make a MMO, fucking idiots:)

Total Annihilation 2

Supposedly that's being developed by some korean developer. However, I've heard nothing more about it in the year or so since I first read that it was being developed. So as far as I'm concerned, it's still vaporware.

Oh yeah, and StarCraft 2! Damn Blizzard and their StarCraft Ghost. Complete waste of time and the Starcraft universe.

Hmm, a Halo MMOFPS involving a massive war between the Covenant and Humanity would be fuxxing awesome. You could balance out the Covenant on a one-on-one basis with the humans by adding things like uber-speed to Grunts. That would be so awesome. Of course, Halo 2 will have to be completed first.

I'd like to see an online game, it may be in the future, that's based in space. Completely. Hundreds and hundreds of systems, each base being like a city in an average RPG. You could take a standard job of delivery, you wouldn't just take one job and be done, but there'd always be stuff that needed delivering. You and a clan could have a base set up a popular system where other factions or freelancers could come by and have dealings with you. You could buy a bar, storage rooms, etc. You can also hang out on a ship. Just ask someone for a ride to another base if your ship wasn't around and you could walk up the bording ramp, take a seat in the passenger area and wait to arrive. It'd also have weapons, anything from swords to assault rifles. There also needs to be some forms of alien life that you might get into fights with. Not like star wars where they're all sentient, but dinosaur-like things, for example. If they get loose on your ship while you're delivering them, you have to find ways to kill them or stun them so you can get them back in their cages. Occasionally you may stumble upon an empty ship, just drifting along. You could tow it back somewhere, or go onboard and look, you may find the crew was killed by some monsters who got loose, and you may have to kill the monsters.

Basically, EXTREMELY open ended. It'd be a lot like real life. You don't have to be a crazy space pilot who goes and shoots up other crazy space pilots. You may be the resident gunsmith on a station, you may manage small deliveries between player-owned businesses, or you may just hang out in a bar and chat, or give advice to people.

Hmmm a lot like real life? But the little spaceship drifting along, that would be pretty freaky. All the lights out on board, dead bodies everywhere, an frequent scampering or rattling sound. When you least expect it, you all see something out of the corner of your eye, the next moment you're dead.

One other thing, cargo. You could arrange little tricks for pirates if they were stupid enough not to scan each box before rushing to take it. If they came with fighter ships and went after your transport, one passenger could unload the boxes and stash the goods somewhere else. Then they could plant a small bomb in one of them, and some weighted material in the rest so the pirates wouldn't get too suspicious because of how fast they're moving when they should be carrying 50 pounds a box off your ship. Then, as a price for their lack of caution, as they speed off, you detonate the bomb and blow their ship apart. Then you go back and recover anything that may have survived the blast. Serves the bastards right for fucking with you.

Or if you're being chased you may stumble across an abandoned station in a far-off system. You could run really fast and dock there, then run up to the control room and activate the auto-defenses, telling them to consider the pirates as enemies.

SOCOM III would be nice but they're probably going to make that anyway.

Mechwarrior Online. Capturable territory. PVM and PVP. End to end, massive battletech simulation. Gain power, prestige and money by protecting and serving or seriously wrecking the people trying to.

There would be mechanical issues to work out, but I think it would be possible. Ideally mechs would require upkeep, resupply, deployment, etc.

A Star Trek MMOFPS, except you are one crewmen on a ship, and have a job, i.e. engineer, tactical officer, etc. You would run around to ship doing normal things, but when it comes to doing your job, you would either go to a console, use tools,et cetera.

More details would be cool, but my brain is hurting from the possibilites already.

Total Anihilation 2

Planetside two (same thing but somehow the broke the laws of physics and made the game run faster and look cooler, and with 300bagilliion weapons and vechs and things)

Mech Warrior 5, not some crapy mech assult but a better version of MW4 with a better way of doing hardpoints and mechs possibly MMO if they did a PS outfit type thing in game

That would be excellent, but you know the geek squad would do nothing but bitch if there was ANY inconsistancy with anything. The game would end up fuxx0red.

where do you get that Total Annihilation 2 stuff from? theres no info on the game and the site for it is extremely vague and uninforming. there isnt even a single screenshot of it. Total Annihilation 1 got a 6.6 at gamespot, which isnt very good either.

it was rated best FPS ever at gamespy, it depends on your look at it, when you look the first time, it seems like a confused mass of a game, but when you get down to it, it is complex really. complex isnt bad.

That sounds pretty similar to Duck's idea, but his one would be far more complex to develop.

TA was one of the best RTS games ever made. It was the first fully 3D RTS. It's engine allowed for new units to be added easily. It had great gameplay. It was one of the defining games of the genre. Gamespot doesn't know shit.

If i could have any game made, it would have to be Mechwarrior online, but not just mechs, infantry and elementals and power armor and them star fighters.mabey all the players can be mech pilots, and like, infantry and such are bought by players and employed as back up. and say, it plays like a cross between MW2 mercs, MW4. MW2 as in the equiping system and buying pilots to help you out, and MW4 as in heavy mechs are better than light mechs. see, it would be really cool if you dont need other players to be fighting with you, but could hire lancemates as well as having players fight with you. 2 sides, inner sphere and Clans, somehow balanced, and have a player run econemy.

I don't know....my dream game and most everyone's here would be a MMO game, probably MMOFPS for me, where you're one man in a big army. And the sword fighting in this game would actually be cool and take skill if you chose to be infantry. You could be an archer, where you'd snipe with your regiment. You could man siege weapons, like a treb or ram. You could be in a cavalry charge.

Ok, I have AoK on the mind and it's late, sue me.

I would love to see some Developers make a shooter that had a true character advancement system like EQ. Planetside doesnt cut the mustard. It would be really cool to raid an NPC complex with a guild of friends with rocking AI and true character progression. PvP would certainly be in order and there would be much fighting amongst guilds
