I've noticed a lot more homeless people in my affluent little village. They have their tricks of the trade, travel in groups and they even have a tent city that they congregate in. The cops actually bring people to the tent city when they're released.

The other day, they had a war at the tent city. Axes, knives. The cops were there for about an hour.

The funny thing is about 1 click from the tent city is Smith College, one of the richest little girls' schools in the nation. It has more than its share of hotties, senators' daughters, etc.

So how's the hobo scene in your neck of the woods?

I want to live with you now, it's not often you see hobo's battling it out.

Well in my pleasant little city it's pretty obvious you're going to see at least 500 hobo's during your life. Just sitting there in the park, drinking, looking sad. Nothing as good as yours.

We have two houses that count as the slums in our town, but no hobos. :(

Why you call homeless people "Hobo's"?

We call them "Tramps" over here.... then again i have no idea why they are called "Tramps" in the first place....

Anyway, most of our homeless are downtown and scattered.

When I was 16 I had some guy come into work one day. He claimed to be a undercover navy seal, the top ranking officer in the Army... a private first class, and also came to the conclusion that he flew a C130 over serbia to drop an atomic bomb on Moscow.. which he thinks he did. Now being a plane fanatic when I heard he thought a c130 was a bomber I just sat there and screamed at him over and over the following...

"C FOR CARGO!!! C FOR CARGO!!!!"

I had some wierd dream last night, where I was walking around just outside the shopping centre*, and some tramp by the flower guy jumed out and started muttering jibberish at me.... :( I got scared. :(

Other than that, theres a few tramps in my town:-
The guy who hangs around outside habitat (shop) - he's the "bag man"
The jamaican dude who sells the big issue
The crazy man who sells the big issue
The guy who hangs around the train station drunk and asking for money.
The wierd guy with 2 alsations who likes to set them after kids....

*a "mall", but my town has a mall, and the shopping centre (called "the glades"), wierd.

theres a homeless guy in my friends town. we all call him hobo jim. a couple years ago he set up a tent and a firepit in the woods and we all went out there to get smashed and stuff. a couple months later I was talking to him and said "Dude I think hobo jim stole my tent." Fortunatly, in my kneck of the woods, there's only a couple of people standing on the side of the road "working" for their money...for course if you go down south a little ways it gets pretty bad..they're all over the place, "working"...
