Most people either love republic or hate it. There's not much of a middle ground. I personally like it quite a bit. It takes a while to get used to doing everything, but in time, you get the hang of it. Keep in mind, I'm a newb who's just stomping the last pockets of resistence in my first district, but it's shaping out to be a fun game.
