One guy, 20:0 Kill to Death ratio, and 20 more wounded/disabled. I can't even do this in Planetside, a game.

That's because you have to fire seven billion rounds at one target in Planetside, and Iraqis don't have rexo or surgile.
This dude is bad-ass. Officially earns my respect.

Leave the Unreal references and Planetside out of this. Real warfare should not be talked about in terms of statistics and "owned".
I'm glad he's on our side though.

My dad heard about this one guy who they called "22" as a nickname. He got surrounded and in the resulting firefight killed 20 people, then ran out of ammo, and killed the other 2 with the butt of his rifle. THAT is pure ownage.

Imagine how people would view the war if the news said "And despite two American casualties, 25 Iraqi gunmen were captured or killed."
People'd think a lot differently about how the war is going if it said that.

My point wasn't to diminish real warfare by comparing it to a game--it was that most of us couldn't do this even in our fantasies. This guy had one shot, his life was on the line, and most of us couldn't match it even with unlimited lives and multiple chances.

Do they teach marines how to use AK's and RPGs?
Do they teach marines how to use AK's and RPGs?
I don't know, but how hard could it be to simply pick one up and empty the magazine? It implied that he discarded the AKs and RPG after he used them.

Recoil and aiming differs from different guns.

Yes, but this guy was pretty much alone, against over 20 guys armed with RPG's and AK47s.

1800, one guy? That's bullshit. The best sniper in WW2 and probably all of history killed 500-600-ish. There is no way in hell anybody can kill 1800 guys and live to tell the tale. Maybe a large group under his command killed 1800, but not one guy.

That is fuckin seen. He's either very good, or very lucky. Probably both.
I agree with Duck on that guy who killed 1800 bullshit. Complete and utter BS.

Obviously. But the circumstances are completely different you can't even compare them.

The best sniper of all history, Zaitsev, had his exploits greatly enlarged as part of the Kommunist Propaganda Plan.
Well done, however. We need more of this shit and not "OMG IM TED KENNEDY AND IM FAT AND DRUNK AND THIS COUNTRY SUXXOR BECUASE WE DONT LIKE GNEVA CONVENTON NO MORE!" (Next day, hostage has head chopped off to avenge the scandal which is furthered by Our Favorite Senator.

While leading his platoon north on Highway 1 toward Ad Diwaniyah, Chontosh's platoon moved into a coordinated ambush of mortars, rocket propelled grenades and automatic weapons fire. With coalitions tanks blocking the road ahead, he realized his platoon was caught in a kill zone.
He had his driver move the vehicle through a breach along his flank, where he was immediately taken under fire from an entrenched machine gun. Without hesitation, Chontosh ordered the driver to advanced directly at the enemy position enabling his .50 caliber machine gunner to silence the enemy.
He then directed his driver into the enemy trench, where he exited his vehicle and began to clear the trench with an M16A2 service rifle and 9 millimeter pistol. His ammunition depleted, Chontosh, with complete disregard for his safety, twice picked up discarded enemy rifles and continued his ferocious attack.
When a Marine following him found an enemy rocket propelled grenade launcher, Chontosh used it to destroy yet another group of enemy soldiers.
When his audacious attack ended, he had cleared over 200 meters of the enemy trench, killing more than 20 enemy soldiers and wounding several others.

Now THAT is a real soldier. Holy crap. He deserved that medal and then some. Can't believe guys like him aren't invited on the late shows while they invite hippy anti-war cowards like Kerry (who got a purple heart by cutting himself on the arm).

Lt General Moore is the man that lead 1st Battalion 7th Cal into the Ia Drang valley. though he wasnt Lt General at the time, and he is retired now. as for 1800 kill count, raiden prolly means 1800 NVA were killed there.

Im sure they have experiences with most modern weaponry, especially since there is always before he joined the service. Im not saying RPG's but peole def have AK's with fully auto enabled.
