I can understand the general gist of what that picture shows but it amazes me that there are hardware engineers that could probably look at something like that, explain it to me, and give me the ups and downs of the setup.

Friend and I were discussing the picture... 22.4+GB Read/Write channel for the RAM, but only 256MBs memory?

I don't really care about specs for the next generation of consoles. They are all going to be powerful enough that the only thing that's always mattered for them matters even more: Games.

If Xbox two is 2 years away, and some chinese man posts what he *THINKS* the specs are, and Xbox 2 wasent shown at E3, so you KNOW its far off, what in the heck makes you think these are true Xbox 2 specs?
False :)

becasue they have to desine it before they can make factories for it, and make software for it, and sell it
The diagram looks legit, but what it tells me is that Xbox games won't be compatible with Xbox2.

If that's the case, I'm pissed.

They may be able to work it with big heavy drivers, kinda acting like emulators, but they'll lose quality.
I really don't think MS would make the mistake of not makeing it backward compatible. I'll check back in 2 years. :D
