No it's a PCI-Express card. It's what they say is replaceing AGP.

But of course you'd still need a pci-x mobo ;). I haven't looked at this card's specs but I doubt it will give a huge performance boost. I think right now its still waste of money.

yeah, it wont blow the AGPs away you are prolly right, but having a PCI-X card certainly wont hurt, and by having a mobo with PCI-X you are future-proofed.

*** those were released months ago,
and all that is a a repackaged fx5950, so it will perform the same, if you want good stuff out of PCI-ex you need one of the new PCI-ex radeons that don't use a AGP-PCIex bridge, all of nvidias new card will just be AGP cards with a 'bridgechip' that make them PCIex compatible
