Wow!

Other traffic police forces which cannot boast a Lamborghini resort to devices of their own against speeders: in Russia, for example, officers have been known to shoot out the tyres of offenders with machine-guns.

Note to self: When in Russia, DO NOT SPEED!

While it's cool. I'd rather have a Steeda Mustang.

To take a mustang over that, even an aftermarket steeda, would be ludacris. It really can't compare.

Maybe in looks, but in performance it's just not as good.

That's pretty cool

I'd still rather have a McLaren F1.

I would prefer the Saleen (I changed my mind) for 2 primary reasons.
A. it costs less (about $120,000 less)
B.I can still alter it to make it even faster without having to sell my left nut to science

Lambrogini performance
Top Speed 309 kph / 192.0 mph 0 - 60 mph 4.1 seconds
0 - mile 12.2 seconds 0 - 100 mph 9.0 seconds
Lateral Acceleration Not Available EPA City/Hwy 14 mpg

Mustang Saleen S281
0-60 mph: 4.4 sec
0-100 mph: 10.4 sec
Quarter Mile: 12.5 sec @ 111 mph
Skidpad: .95g
Top Speed: 160 mph
Braking, 60-0 mph: 109 ft
Slalom Speed: 68.7 mph

overall the lamborgini is faster but not by much (Well top speed has a big difference but I doubt you would hit it often)

I'm not surprised. I've seen a two Lamborghinis from Santa Fe down here in Albuquerque. I wonder if they're just coming to get our cheaper premium gas.

Normally I'm not a fan of Lamborghinis, but the Gallardo is indeed a very nice car. The design is like a futuristic Ferrari 512, which is probably the reason I like it (big Ferrari fan). Anyway, I wouldn't complain if someone gave it to me, but I would rather have a Ferrari or the Infiniti M45 concept:

About a year ago, my local police force got a few BMW M5s... one of them got crashed at a roundabout :p

Anyway, what would I have?

This!

2005 Ford Mustang GT-R concept :) (If it goes into production that is)
Screw all the new shaped mustangs, I like the older style ('78 Fastback :drools: ), this is the closest you get to them now without hunting around, whilst performence is up to modern standards :)

The orange Lotus Esprit is pretty awesome. The only cool cop cars our city has are souped-up Camaros, which really aren't that cool. Anyway, the 2005 Mustang GTR is sweet. And since we're on the topic of tricked-out cars, I found another nice Infiniti:

Nice, but the grille looks tacky, makes it look round and happy.... I like agressive looking cars :D

I agree with you on the front grille; they really should have kept the original.

Anyway, I found some more Mustang GTR pics...

our police force here has nothing special.

Alot of police forces get cool cars becasue they keep 'em after a big drug but or something, a suburb near us has a Viper

the gallardo is a great car, but it still has the aging lamborghini design thats been around since the early diablos. lamborghini needs to really redo their standards.
