Anyone wanna play some Halo tonight? In about half an hour or so? So roughly 9pm eastern.

Anyone at intermediate skill level or above uses a pistol, period. An expert can kill anyone in 3-4 hits with a pistol. I've got plenty of pics of score charts for multiplayer Halo on PC where i scored 150+ kills on a CTF map. Next closest were in the 20's.

Come to UMBC some time. I've got a whole crew of boys who can do the same. PC or Xbox.

BTW: Tanks suck. An expert can snipe you out of a tank with a pistol at 400 meters.

No. It takes skill to use.

It's a pinpoint precision weapon. If your facing a good opponent he will dodge and jinx forcing you to waste bullets. The first person to run out of bullets and need to reload almost always loses.

If you truly are good, you can hit a moving, dodging target at good range in the HEAD, resulting in a 2-3 shot kill. That takes a LOT of practise and a LOT of reflexes. Overpowered my ass.

The reason i like Halo is the same reason i like Tribes. If your good enough, you can do anything. Skill = all.

It is easy to use. However, it is hard to master. When you meet a master with the pistol, you know it. He's the guy who can take on 3-4 pistol weilding enemies all at once and take them all down in a single clip (with a grenade or two).

Same with the disk launcher in Tribes. Easy to use, but a master could wade through a dozen players without breaking a sweat.
