I rarely get bored. If I do, that mean's I'm not working or playing, and so I resume either. If I really am bored (usually because all my friends are busy), I write or work on the vineyard with dad.

This is a simply logical question. If one is bored what does one do when bored? Of course, be bored. If one is doing something OTHER than being bored, then one is not bored. Duh. That should keep half of you up for a few hours.

Select layer, right click on layer in layers panel, select blending options for the simpler ones (like drop shadow, outer glows etc). Can also do it via the layers menu iirc.

And there are plenty of tutorials on how to make other text effects on the web.
