I usually leave my computer on during the day/night, cuz im lazy. I woke up just now to find that there were 61 internet explorer windows open. When I got off there were none. I'm sick of these popups, where can I get a free popup blocker?

The best one that I've seen and use is in Avant Browser (www.avantbrowser.com), it's a built in feature and the whole browser rocks.

Get Adaware dude. Google it and d/lk it. You won't have those anymore after you run Adaware.

Yea if they are popping up while you are asleep you have a problem. Get adaware and spybot, clean out all the spyware. Then download the google toolbar

www.avantbrowser.com

Get Spybot and Ad-Aware, run them nightly, full checks.

Might as well run Housecall (google it) while you're at it.

I Run google toolbar, use Firefox and an Extra Firfox Plugin Popup blocker for the ones those two don't get. :)

If your comp isn't doing something profitable, like downloading from a torrent, running a server or playing sleepy-head music (heh) you should not leave it running.

Yes, a computer can run 24/7. Should it? Not unless you can justify the electricity, which is significant.

If you're too lazy to turn off your comp, how do you keep your lungs moving?

Got adaware, got spybot. I need a program specifically designed to block them. I don't want to switch browsers either. Thank you for the suggestions though.
