2 Brand New Screenshots!

The devs were kind enough to send CrazyMike 2 brand new screenshots for his efforts in putting together the IRC DevChat last weekend.

The first one shows a hotT TR MAX with some huge.........guns, and the second shows a TR mosquito doing a fly-by over one of the brand new gun towers.

The TR maxes are the crapiest looking the VANU look the sweetest and NC are kinda cool ,Its great to see some new screens though :D

it looks like you can have up to 8 implants, maybe at CR nad BR 20/20.

no, the 3 square icons on the bottom left of the popup screen show your implants. the devs have said the top boxes are for macro commands you can set up i believe.

hitting f1-f8 activates whatever you place in the box, be it an implant, or a message macro, etc.

Just for the record.. those shots were supposed to be released at the dev chat.. but Dave sent them to me at my work email at the very last minute before the chat, so I wasn't able to get to them until today.

Oh well.. they are still very nice. First shot ever of the gun tower. I love the fact that the flags hang for whichever empire owns it. Very nice touch. :D

Wow, those are GREAT! I enjoy seeing some new terrain as well. Though I haven't search through all of the screenies, that's the first time I have seen that desert-like terrain with little trees. The mosquito and max look SWEET!

These are sweet screens, finally we see one of the towers we learned about recently.

I do not think that 435 Grief Points are that many.
Remember, it was said that you get one point for one point of damage.
So he only had to kill a MAX half or exidently blow up a manned buggy.
I assume that this could easily happen with a weapon like the decimator or maybe a tankgun.

NC max looks like it came out of ExoSquad...one of my fav cartoons growing up :D
