Hello, I am really excited about planetside, I have been reading these forums and posted a few times on the official forums at thebigbaddude2k but I rarely post. I am wondering if anyone has the gamespot videos to please contact me on AOL. My name is THEKOOLDOOD. Also does anyone know of a free game that can hold me over until the release of planetside? I would like to play a game like infantry but now you have to pay for it and I can't because I have no job (I want to concentrate more on school without work getting in my way) and I only have enough money saved up for planetside when it comes out and a few months of subscription.

get a subscription dude. i got one - 25 dollars for a year(just ask ur parents and explain its like an ultra magazine subscriptoin). its totally worth and it kicks ass. ;)

A free game is here (www3.neveron.com). It's a massive empire-building game set in 3225. You control a small empire at first, but you can build it up. This game takes patience, and strategy. Read the tutorial, it is pretty fun. Massive mech and tank battles. You're not going to be a superpower overnight. I have been playing for a few months and I am level 3 on a scale of 0-13. The level 13 has like 1000000 times my stuff. It's loosely related to BattleTech and Mechwarrior.

Mainly text, but battles have graphics (however poor they may be.) Battles use a big hex grid with icons representing units. You fight in phases, a phase for moving, and one for attacking. If your obsessed with flashy lights, big explosions, and a game that you can r00l in 6.8 seconds, don't click the link. Go to Nev forums, ask for help. I'm Flameseeker there too. :)

I can totaly atest to the $25 subscription for gamespot. Its worth every penny. Specially if you have high speed access for DLing movies and such.

I understand that it may be my problem but i can't get enough money for gamespot because my parents want to to concentrate on school more than a job. I only have enough money for planetside and a few months subscribtion. If I pay 25 dollars I may only be able to play for one month or so, and my birthday is 7 months away. I know this is my problem, but can someone help me with it by just contacting me on AOL. I m online right now.

tbh your better just paying the cash its worth it
the gamespot service is pretty good and you get first dibs on other exclusive game movies etc

That's an awesome thing to do Goldfox.

However, I would hate to see you and PSU get into some sort of trouble for hosting these movies. My favorite NHL 2k3 site received a cease-and-desist letter from IGN for allowing them(forum users) to post reviews that were made available only to members. It is very likely that Gamespot would take a similar action.

i Personaly hate people who excesively pirate stuff, but this is utterly ridiculous, they shouldn't be hogging these vids, the main site should at least get a few good ones, so, please, drop some on kazaa please.
