Well I did work experience as a tech support guy, lame job, but I really enjoy doing it :)

Alas, I screwed up my GCSEs, pretty such screwing me up. Unfortunately, I couldn't get into college to redeem my mistakes and redo my GCSEs because I didn't get high enough grades in them (the most bullshit education system ever, if I had high enough grades, I wouldn't redo them)

I signed up with a temp agency and managed to get a couple of crappy jobs, the first one I got was doing "Data Entry", this was boring as fuck, I felt like a monkey on a typewriter. The pay was pretty good, 6 an hour, ~130 a week, but I only lasted a week, it was that bad.

The next job thay gave me also had the same pay, but was MUCH worse. I had to stuff envelopes. That's right, putting things in envelopes all day, I left after a day, left the temp agency and considered joining the army just to get shot so I didn't have to do anymore shitty jobs. (I'm way too unfit for the army, I'd rather eat a roast dinner than do an assault course :p)

Anyway, on monday, I'm gonna try and redeem myself and sign up for an apprenticeship course in Hardware Engineering on Network Admin! :D

SATs are exams that you take in year 6 and year 9 to determine which set you go in :p

Rbstr

Well i was wondering if they are more of a test like in germany that decides if your going to college, trade school, or aprenticeship for something that doesn't require more classroom teaching.

SAT/ACT are not something that totaly contol what you can do, even with bad scores on those you can get into college

And we have SATs in years 2 and 4. (I got highest score possible in those 2 and in year 6, whilst getting straight 6's in year 9)

What about CATs hezzy, did you do those in year 7? I got 125 for each of them, highest score as well I think :D Pwnage :D

Basically some dumbarse test we had in year 7 to determine sets... it was like yes/no answers :p

Did you ever have to do some crazy test in music, with some wierd guy who sounded like some extra from a dracula film where you had to determine things like if the chord they play used 2 notes or 3?

OR

The dreaded "bleep test" in PE?

In PE?! Nooo...

Basically, we'd goto the gym, and and they'd put a tape on that beeped every few seconds... and you had to run a set distance before it beeped, it gradually got faster as well.

First job was as a lifeguard for a local water park between my junior and senior year in high school. Ended up quitting a few weeks into it when the admin girl kept blowing me off and wouldn't schedule me more despite promising to.

Oh shit, we do the beep test every year in PE here. I wonder if it's the same one as we use. Ours is some guy's voice that says for example "6, and one half" then it will beep. I never really tried hard on those because I am exhausted for the rest of the day after I do them. I usually stop at about 5, or 6.

I was a desk girl at a dry cleaners. I took people's dirty shirts, put tags on them, and sent them away to the magical world of Teh Dry Cleaners.

What really happens behind that rotating line of clothes? Where do our precious garments go once we have handed them to the dry cleaner? Nobody knows for sure, be sure to tune in next week for, "The dimension of missing socks" on: The Secret Wonders of the Modern World.

Actually, we check through all the pockets, keep anything awesome, and then dump your clothing into a vat of Magic Solvent, which makes them come out clean and fresh-smelling but also implanting your skin with a device that alerts the FBI to your dirty thoughts.

My first job was a library assistant at my school's library during the little kiddies' Summer Camp. Great job, actually. Excellent pay, easy work, nice teachers, and all my friends (who were also working at school for Summer Camp as counselors, teacher assistants, and life guards) to do stuff with.

Construction job worker,$8 an hour 8-10 hour days 5 days a week, get paid for an hour lunch and all breaks.Sounds like it should be awesome but my primary boss was a dick.Everything anyone did was wrong unless you were mexican. If you were mexican he always said how great a job it was and acted cool to you.Anyone else though he would scream all day at year, call you names, cuss you out, diss your mom(which he really would do).Felt like the military sometimes, fucking prick was sexist too.Always dissing women calling em weak and worthless,we had a girl bout 17 work there she quit crieing after talking to him once.

Heh in Gym we got cones set up in a straight line across the gym and you and a friend gotta run to last then back, then 2nd las then back then 3rd ect till you finish, its hard and VERY tiring when you have to do it like 4 times.Im not in the best shape but I am in pretty good shape so when I can barely finish the 4th set I know its really hard.
