Ross was good when we had to mess with Dole. He had a half-assed campaign and everyone knew it. Ross was opposed to NAFTA, which causes American jobs to be exported. So he was alright with some groups of conservatives like my dad.

I'm having a John Kerry Fundraising 4th of July party.

Umm... Trig...

If you're into guns and all, why the hell would you support John Kerry? He'd gladly ban guns because he thinks it'll reduce crime. In fact, it makes the law-abiders defenseless against our criminals. If you support guns, there's no way in hell you can support the DNC.

Duck, it's possible to be a gun enthusiast, and also not want your country to be run into the shithole by a stupid president. I'm sure almost anyone who plays 1st person shooters is a gun enthusiast. Hell, even my left wing ass is. But just becausea single policy of a party may not be to your liking, it doesnt mean all it's others are either.

I agree with John Kerry's stance on guns. He doesn't want them outlawed, but he thinks there should be a mandatory training class before you purchase a weapon - and I personally think that's a great idea. No more wiggity white boys running around with their glocks, shooting it sideways... ah... to dream...

Mr1337Duck
2004-05-25, 01:09 PM
He wants to restart gun bans. Look at the assault weapons ban. It's for stupid stuff like bayonets and pistol grips on your rifles.

Can't I post anythign without you fucks making it political????

Oh and Kerry would love to ensure that you don't get to own or use fireamrs except under the most conveluted rules and regulations.

I have this for you control people that didn't get the memo:

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,120638,00.html

So why the sudden disarray after the Senate defeat? Simply, gun-control groups' credibility is on the line and they are getting cold feet. With no academic research showing the assault weapons ban reduces crime, gun control groups realize that soon it will be obvious to everyone that their predicted horror stories about "assault weapons" were completely wrong.

Internationally, dramatic gun control victories in countries such as England, Australia, and Canada are also unraveling.

Crime did not fall in England after handguns were banned in January 1997. Quite the contrary, crime rose sharply. Yet, serious violent crime rates from 1997 to 2002 averaged 29 percent higher than 1996; robbery was 24 percent higher; murders 27 percent higher. Before the law, armed robberies had fallen by 50 percent from 1993 to 1997, but as soon as handguns were banned, the robbery rate shot back up, almost back to their 1993 levels.

Australia has also seen its violent crime rates soar after its Port Arthur gun control measures (search) in late 1996. Violent crime rates averaged 32 per cent higher in the six years after the law was passed (from 1997 to 2002) than they did the year before the law in 1996. The same comparisons for armed robbery rates showed increases of 45 percent.

The 2000 International Crime Victimization Survey, the most recent survey done, shows that the violent crime rate in England and Australia was twice the rate in the US.

Yes, shirt is teh 1337ness.

But Trig, what do you mean shooting to the side? You mean shooting "gangsta style" where you hold it so the barrel is close to the center of your body and the handle is facing away? Or do you actually mean looking to your left and putting the gun that way and shooting?

I wish Dean, Perot, Gore, or even McCain would've run. Hell, I'd probably support the Republicans completely except for the fact the conservatives are in charge. Moderates I like. Conservatives are too off center.
