This game is gunna be great! Its supposted to be a rip-off (tho nobody will admit it) of battlefield 1942, so hopefully, having a model to work off of, it'll be great.

I downloaded the trailer off of BT, and it looked great. The graphics definitely aren't up to snuff, but the gameplay looked fantastic and that's what will ultimately decide it.

The Jedi class ruins star wars multiplayer games. (that don't focus completly on Jedi) The whole thing that makes Jedi's so cool is that they're extremely elite, unique, and small in numbers. But when someone named Gh3ttoSk8rHoty4umama is a Jedi, along with every other tardhole in the world, it kind of ruins it. The only answer is to take Jedi out of player control completely. Either make them NPC's or not at all, imo. Except, of course, in the games centered on Jedi.

That's one of the things that ruins the new star wars movie, imo, they're completely focused on Jedi, in the first 3, there were 2 jedi, and 2 sith, in the course of ALL THREE MOVIES, in the new ones, there's 50+ jedi every 5 seconds.

I Loved the bespin air shafts map in Jedi Outcast. I was sad when it wasnt recycled for Jedi Academy. :(

Because its out for consoles, theyre not spending time to make it better, theyre spending time making it worse so it will run on consoles. Consoles suck because they take the titles and have to spend shitloads of time optimizing the game so it will work well on the console. PCs are more versatile and require less optimizing because they have better hardware.

Commando on the other hand will be very good, in terms of graphics, but the gameplay looks superb as well.

that is possible. but it isnt definate. Battlefront can be a great game, but the idea that the console versions being developed at the same time could hurt the PC version is a very probable idea.

I do believe they have 2 teams working on the 2 types (console vs PC).
Even so, they've said (i read it somewhere) that they want to make the PC version as great as possible.

Hopefully it'll be good, but well see in the end.

I really hope it turns out well. I'm just not getting my hopes up too much.

EDIT: Just something I thought of that would be a way to incorporate Jedi into a game like battlefront. There could be a commander who could make a 1 - 3 soldiers into jedi, sort of acting like officers in Savage. They could either be generic Jedi, or special characters from the movies. That way the amount of jedi would be limited, and there would be some sense of leadership, and command. Because, that is essentially what jedi are, leaders. The idea of officers also brings to mind regular troops acting as officers too. That would be cool.
