TR Werner -nearly- won today :D today being 26/05 as well :)

Got NC zeroed and VS with only 4 bases. Woot for TR :) I wonder if Emerald came close... hehehe

At the end of the day, major battles require mass players. Its jsut may the best team win. The only situations where skill (I mean 1 squad base capping) is required is when there are a lower amount of players, 1 squad vs 1 squad, spec ops.

Plus the NC and VS have had their fair share of high pop counts, ESPECIALLY the NC. So shutup moaning.

This actually had little to do with the 4th empire and mostly had to do with neglect from the other two empires (NC/VS). The TR got kicked off of the main fight on Amerish and were basically forced to hack empty continents (25+ TR on Cyssor vs 4 NC...).

Eventually the TR ran out of places to hack except the last continent not red in the world... Amerish. At this point most of the populations were about even (in the 30's range). As the NC got sandwhiched more and more of them logged off along with the VS as the TR took more and more of the last remaining continent.

Just a little fyi, most people don't switch empires when they're losing, they just log off...

It has great accuracy, great magazine, great range, and good damage. You go and play the NC full time after playing with the MCG for a year and you will see how much harder it really is to use it.

Its about time the MCG had some loving but its not thatgreat, the reason for the big magazine is because half the bullets miss, i think the Lasher is the best HA its excellent for clearing rooms and indoor battles and i cant stand going up against them.

There is one reason why I have barely been using mcg lately. Since the Rexo buff it is a MAJOR pain in the ass using mcg/agile/pshield against just about any rexo. It still kills about as fast as JH, but the nature of it and the amount of time with reticle spent on one target just pisses me off.

When I use Rexo on my tr, I love using MCG, but agiling it drives me nuts. I blame the mass numbers of rexos everywhere. Before the rexobuff mcg was hands down the best. Give me a JH anytime, anywhere nowadays.

I love using my MCG while in my agile exosuit. To use the MCG you need speed to get up close and keep a constant move. With JH you just jump in their face, fire 3 or 4 times and they're dead; but with that, just ONE simple miss and you're putting your own life on the line. Thats why its greatly tense when 2 agiles (one with MCG, other with JH) are 1v1, Terran is spraying, Conglo is direct-hitting. Its great to see the outcome; and its down to skill, may the best win.

We fight TR we get out ass wooped from a medium range. Lasher is so easy to dodge its not even funny. TR have to use tactics?? We have to use skill and skill is not easy to get when you have a weapon like the lasher. And wait on that last page did he say we never have large numbers? I'm pretty sure Fatallight knows deep down how well lashers can hold back doors and long corridors better than the other two :)

Yea uh sorry bout that, yea ive been in som bd holdin sits... thats good stuff... but without the group if your up close the jackhammer kiks mor ass than the Lasher and farther MCG kiks your ass. It kinda goes JH>Lasher>MCG>JH>Repeat they really all have their strengths and weaknessess but Lasher has nothin over JH... you cant shoot from far (easy dodge) an u cant shoot close (3 shot kill).

I agree Fatal, the Lasher does take skill to use, but using that skill makes the Lasher one of the most effective weapons out. If the target is moving, aim slightly ahead of him; and aim at his legs/floor. Whats good is if you miss his legs, you hit the floor, and it LASHES. Even if you miss, it lashes. The lash part of it compensates for the travelling orb that some players can dodge. Use it wisely.

You know what I would love to see, the inability of empires to use another empires weapons. It's bad enough when we (VS) are fighting the NC, we know that at least every other guy is going to be carrying the JH. What sucks is when you are fighting the TR and every other freaking guy is carrying the JH.
I am VS, I use VS weapons, that was the point of choosing my empire. I don't even carry the HA cert, I use my empires MA so that I can fight at range as well as up close. As far as I am concerned, looting another empires weapons is simply saying you chose the wrong empire to fight for.

I mean i would not expect a MCG or a Lasher to do so much damage in such a small amount of time.
When has it been that a Heavy Assault can be such an effective AV?
Sure i was too close, and eventually i kill the NC, but it just seems insane.

I'm not so sure how fast a AP Jackhammer is like an aVanguard and Prowler, but because they have more armour i suppose it would take more shots.

Woot more Love for MA the game would be better with more of us. But you know the Pulsar does Lots more Damage per shot than the Gauss or Cycler up close untill nearly the end of its full range. It is very awsome loot em whenever i can.

the JH AP does Moderate AV damage, but the Lasher and MCG do quite a bit. Lasher 2.0 coudl take out Lightnings in less than one clip.

Amen. There may be tiny, minute, miniscule and infintesimal problems with HA balance as it stands, but there are far more important balance issues to deal with. By and large, the Devs have done an excellent job equalizing the Empires.
