Conflict of Interest

I've been curious about the psu community's take on this: Star Wars Galaxies is coming out in the same general time frame as PS. One, do you think it will have an affect on PS, and if so, what will that effect be? I know the two titles do not share the same fan base, but there is alot of overlap, especially since they're both MMOGs and they're both from sony......

Couldn't care less, they are compleatly different genres. I don't think Dave will let this game fall into a shithole and not get it out.

Sony will be trying to get people to get both games so they can double their profits on the box-sales and subscriptions.

the only way this affects me is that i have a few friends i wish would play ps with me, but plan on playing swg instead. they're big sw geeks tho, so its understandable.

I would play SWG, but planetside looks so gaddamned cool, plus i rather prefer "Who's good, rather than electronic dice rolling" -From the PS ad in PCG.

MMORPGs drain too much out of your life. I would like to try SWG but i would just never have the time to play it and get my char up. :)

I was planning on getting SWG before I went onto PSU and got some info on it. Good site..BTW, SWG looks like it'll be the next Everquest BUT what if they tried to get too much into it? Thgey could 'overflow' the game and make it worse than it could've been

Im sure that there are some folks that will buy swg instead of ps, but they are probably SW whores anyway :p
