What is your best shot ever in a FPS Game? Here are some of mine.

Today in Far Cry, the level after the one in the demo (the one where you storm the beach and start out on a life raft). There was one of those MachineGun/Rocket Boats and I was flying in a hang glider, after killing the Chopper gunner, I look down to see the boat flying under me (about 500+ feet below me) I pull out my sniper rifle and aim down and fire twice, both shots hit and gunner and drivers dead bodies fly out of the boat as it continues to cruise at full speed. Then my hanglider adventures are over when I land on a grenade :(

In Planetside, I randomy shot and killed a surging cloaker a few weeks ago. :eek: :eek: :eek:

I'm a Counter-Strike addict...
One time I was running around de_aztec with my 1337 knife! I dropped all my weapons at the spawn and jumped off the rope bridge, fell +50 feet and knife a CT atop the head for a one hit kill! Then everyone said omfg hax. BTW I really wasn't trying to be funny, true story :)

I was on AA, and me and a teammate were the last dudes against two other guys. I'm a sniper. I'm scanning carefully on Bridge, and we don't see 'em. Then out of the corner of my eye, I see a head poking out from the middle tower, an enemy one. I dodge just as a sniper round flies by me, and me and the teammate rush to the right catwalk to get him. He's about 15 feet ahead. He climbs the catwalk ladder, and then the tower ladder. I hear three M16 shots, and it says he kills someone. Then there's three AK-47 shots, and it says he's been killed. I rush up with just my bolt-action sniper rifle, and when I get there, the enemy's reloading. With just an instant to spare and no crosshairs, I squeeze one round that goes directly into his skull. He screams "WTF? Hax!". And then my teammates are all cheering.

But this shot was on America's Army, which has crappy "realistic" weapons. Even though you could bring an ancient FG42 and it would still be better than the guns in that game.

My best shot ever was pegging aguy with a DE in Soldner with a random shot twards thse bushes at the top of a cliff, headshoted a sniper, with one of thsoe very expensive Light 50's

In Soldner, I had a Lada, MP5, and body armor, because Protection is #1. I was thinking "Fsck, I need money so I can get a better gun that this shitty MP5." when I run into another Lada at a control point. FOUR of them step out.

I hit the brakes, aim down the sight, and send two to meet their maker. I duck behind the car, rise up, and kill a third. I aim for the fourth one but the magazine runs dry. I snap a new one into it and emerge from the car and kill the fourth.

I wasn't even hit, though I can't say the same for my smoking Lada.

one time I got 2 headshots with 1 bullet from an AWP in Counterstrike. I also dropped a bomb from an extremely high altitude in BF1942 from a P-51 and killed about 5 people.

Hrm... in Return to Castle Wolfenstein, this wasn't as much a good shot as it was a killing streak. On MP_tram, I was an allied medic. We hadn't blown the supply door yet. I'm running away from an Axis Lieutenant, and I jump behind the snow hut. I see two Axis there, I get FOUR headshots (two headshots kill one guy) and sprint down behind the hut. I rush into the hut, climb the ladder, and jump out by the MG nest. I run towards the supply door and gun down an Axis on the way. I see an allied engineer plant at the supply door, and then is promptly gunned down. I drop a grenade by the dynamite, and climb the ladder to the balcony above the supply door. I then protect the dynamite for thirty seconds without back up, getting killed eventually, but letting the dynamite blow up.

Oh. Another good one in Return to Castle Wolfenstein is on mp_ice. I was an Axis sniper. The allies had just gotten the docs, and I was running towards the north tunnel. Everyone was dead, and they were respawning. I see the allied guy with the doc's jump from the upper level, so I stop, zoom in, and take a shot. Head shot. Remember, he was jumping off the top level, so he was moving fairly quickly.

real life I think my best shot was hitting a ping pong ball from like 120 yards with my .30, no scope, just the sight

Ah, RTCW, the good days...I think I need to reinstall. Anyways, in one round I got 4 goombas in a row. Not so much a best shot as a best round, but still worth mentioning.

In CS, killed 3 guys with one blast from the pump. I rounded a corner in iceworld, found 3 guys and took a shot in the middle...two of them got headshots and the one that took the least damage, something like 40, died due to lower life.

With a rubber band, I managed to shoot out a saltine cracker that a friend was holding between his fingers from across the classroom. I'll admit that it was a lucky shot, since I can only do that trick accurately up to a distance of 15ft. Anything past that is a matter of guesswork aiming and a little bit of hope (much to the dismay of the person holding said cracker).

In DoD, axis were about to cap the truck on kraftstoff and I sprint around the corner and shoot three guys with one garand shot. I could only see the head of one, so my guess is I shot him and then through the truck to the other two D:

Oh and I killed 4 people with a nade in a match. ^_^

MA = Mid Air. i.e. I shot someone in the mid air with a mortar. One of the times I too was in the air.

Yes. I prefer my SAR-1 (semi-auto AK) to the MP5.

My dad's MP5 has the full stock (he has the folding one but doesn't like it), and a red-dot sight.

I do well in GTA3 and VC but that's not first person. and it's PC so it's fairly easy.

just buy a good FPS, like BFV or something, play it alot, and you'll get better. if you want to get really good at aiming play Tribes 2, which is all about timing your low-speed projectiles, which, for me anyway, turned out to be very rewarding once UT2k3 came around.

Well once I was playing BF1942, and I was in a bunker as an engineer, and I was placing down mines to blow up tanks, when I saw a jeep coming, I shot the driver, and the speeding jeep smashed into a tank that I didn't see since I was zoomed, then as the tank bounced from the explosion a plane was coming down to strafe and it smashed into the tank wreck. Then an APC pulled up and ran over my mines. Finally, I turned around and saw my teammate had spawned, and he grabbed the MG42, but I wanted it. So I punched him so hard that South Carolina exploded.

I was playing BF1942 Desert mod and i was letting loose a barrage of rockets with the help of a spotter.
All the rockets fell short of the target but fortunately a enemy helicopter was flying by just at that moment, and got clipped by a rocket. Didn't know what hit it.

BF42 DC mod:

I was 1 point from winning the match, and the enemy had ticket loss. I was in El Alamein and the match was almost over and im like DAMNIT IM NOT GONNA WIN. So i see this SU-25 flying above me kinda slow chasing an AH-64 really fucking high. So im like fuck it i can win. I lead my smaw, a bit, fire, and I see the thing going, and boom, it hits the SU-25 blowing it up. I got that extra point and won the game with 1st place. I was like HOLY SHIT I DIDNT THINK I'D HIT IT.

yea, especially with like a KARninetyeightk, where it takes a shot from anywhere but the foot or hands to kill someone. in CoD I once got 5 headshots in less then 5 seconds, but that happened a few times.

heh... im cheap... in PS(i killed 2 people this way)
1. I was all alone in one base, so i tried to find my way out... I had a hard time, then i heard a door open then i was all like OH SHIT!!! im gonna die... so i hid beind some boxes and a TR walks by, i follow him to our CC! then he starts hacking thats when i strike! took a mag scatter, ran up behind him and took 5 shots on him, it was cheap because he was hacking, and he couldnt move...
2. There was a huge tower battle, so i waited for it to die down (the tower was ours) then when everyone left, there was a VS walking arround, he ran to the towers CC and i strike again, while he is hacing the tower...

coolest for me was when a friend challenged me to shoot 3 bottles down in 3 shots...(with a scoped .222)
first shot hit and knocked 1 bottle down, second missed... 3rd shot hit the side of 1 bottle and knocked over the 3rd.

My best was in PS. Was attacking bastet on solsar and i dropped on the walls from my skeeter. i killed one guy sniping then a grunt that saw me. i patched up and headed to cc with like 5 other NC grunts. i kill one more on the way to cc. then i hack cc. the LLU spawns my squadmate tries to get it but gets killed. so i go and get it i kill 2 guys then have to reload and then kill a guy trying to rez his buddy i just killed. next i grabbed the llu ran outside hit a HE mine that hadnt been cleared yet. it dropped me to 17 health. then found a ride and capped the base.

This guy with a AA tank shot down my helicopter so I parachuted directly over him and stabbed him with a knife.

I grabbed the barret sniper rifle and didn't miss a single person and used every shot and got banned from the server because they couldn't stand seeing Bighoss barret.50cal (name of victim) on the screen every 5 seconds.

Hmm.. i would say my best shot was a few nights ago. Was playing AA and my youngest kitten pounced on the mouse, causing me to throw the nade before i was ready. It bounced off the overhang (pipe mission, secondary valve) and fell down into the pipes killing 2 terrorists.

Kitten got huggles.
