I have noticed that when i get hit..... My health and my armor both go down. I can understand this to a certain extent to be realistic and all.

It really pisses me off when i die with 60 armor left though.

I think that allowing armor to be totally used prior to your health bar lowering would make armor certs a little more enticing. The way the system is set up now... The only plus to rexo is the extra inventory. Sure you last maybe one or two more seconds in a battle but the defensive advantage is vurtually nil.

:groovy: Also Rexo slows you down so much that someone in agile can own you easily by simply moving left and right irratically. You are so slow you just cant follow the target.

This post is not designed to flame Rexo or the game in any way.

I am just stating an issue.....that in my opinion....might need some attention.

What do you think?

It's really not that hard to own an agile HA user in rexo if your using HA too

You missed a plus to rexo, 2 rifles, when your a Vanu with Lasher ur gonna need a pulsar for nething thats more that 5 meters in front of you. But any way yea Ive noticed that too. It kinda pisses me off when I get shot by a MCG and die with 100 armor left which makes the xtra armor useless. I personally get mor kills and live longer as an infil. And the gettin owned by agile, well that happens to me even against a rexo I am just a bad aimer...

I also end up dying with about 30 armor. but look at it this way. lets say you get attacked by someone with a lasher. when you die, you'll end up with, say, 20% of the armor you had originally. so 20% of the rexo is more then 20% of the agile, so basically, its just as effective because this issue occurs with all armor types not just rexo. with teh exception of MAXes.

So a modern soldier is killed, let's say. Is all his armour going to be gone before he dies? No, the armour will still be partially intact.

This is true. :D

I just don't want the ttk of a deci on a max faster than ttk of a scattercannon on a rexo.

instagibcannon max = the indoors vanguard

Well at least if you get revived you'll have some armour left :D

Infantry armour is damage absorption not damage prevention (with the exception of the MAX), and it's not only in planetside where this is the case. Since different weapons do different amounts of penetration (ooer :brow: ) it's a bit silly to expect that every time you die you will be on 0 armour.

Ya now that you think back to real life, the bullets would go through the armor if it weak enough in a spot...
