Bit of Speculation

I'm sure a lot of you know about the little tab that says training on the Character info box that comes up when you press "o". Well, was looking at that and noticed there are 3 places that I haven't visited. Ascension, Desolation, and one other that I can't remember. Of course, these aren't in the game as of now. They're obviously some new planned areas.

So, speculation time. What are they? New caverns? Space areas? They're definately not Battle islands seeing as there were only 3.

Yes, they could be battle islands, but put into a group of islands.

They are the new Battle Continents because the developers havent announce anything else. They arent putting 8 new continents into the game because that would be stupid. 3 Smaller Battle Continents are a much better idea.

Also, if you go to a cert terminal, go to air calvary and look at the bottom of the discription window... It looks like they are giving us easter eggs.

Well... either the Phantasm (http://www.planetside-universe.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22982) is an easter egg, or they're seriously late for Easter :p

Each one wont be just one island, they're probably 2 or 3 in each, if ya get me.

I was thinking they were going to have 8 groupings of Islands.They're going to be introducing them gradually iirc. The third one is Extinction btw.

I'm betting they're battle continents, Extinction and Desolation sound like they're going to be replacing Oshur and Ish to me, no clue what Ascension is replacing though.

Edit: also, I agree with xmodum, each one is probably a small chain of islands.

Yeah, that's what I meant when I said groupings @ Xmodum. And Ascension could be Cery.
