Im not sure if the devs said this in the ask the devs thing and if they did im just wasting my time... as usual... *sigh*...

Anyways,

For those really organized outfits, what would you think of like a continent for each empire or maybe a central warpgate in the Sanc to goto a seperate cont or area to train at?

hmm guess what. we got vr training. that should work fine. oh ps. if you want to have scrimagges within your own outfit, you wont get any grief. just do it on a friendly cont with no action.

thats what my outfit (TRG) does for thier training (tower cappin, flight formation, gen blowin, ect.)

Heyhey that sounds pretty good. :-) My old outfit used to do stuff similar. I kinda miss it.

True. But its always good to rehearse tactics with your squad-mates then do the real biz out on the field and impress.

ON that small island in south Cyssor SOme of the BH infantry whent up against Band of Brothers-J in some AMP/Supressor only fights.

We started on one end and fought to the other, Kinda CS like, no medikits or anything.

We did like 6 games only lost one person, even thought we we forced to Use AP ammo in one round.

It was great fun until one of our guys ZAYZAY, gave away our position to An old outfitmate that Whent over ot TR. A radier promptly shoed up and killed our AMS so we didn't stand a chance

Indeed I would love to see this idea put into place. VR training SUCKS for training a squad because you cant SHOOT anyone. That damn message pisses me off. Anyways, a cont for training would rock, especially if the players could alter their chars at will, like thus:

An outfit has a lot of members on, and so their leader decides its a great time to rehearse tower capping procedure. The outfit members split off into two squads. Then they enter the training arena. Once inside the arena, the platoon leader picks the following variables:

# of facilities
# of towers
type of terrain
members of each side

Then, one squad stays their original empire (the one that is being trained) and the other squad picks an enemy empire, (the one doing the training). Then both sides pick certs, get geared up and ready, and the battle commences! Of course, no XP would be gained here, but it would really be uber fun to pull off without worrying about stupid people coming and crashing the session.

the devs wouldnt do that^, mainly because the difficulty in creating it would be about to the level of a mini expansion rather then a patch, and half of the players would just play around in the training.

see my previous post, its easy, and requires no lack of new patches that a practice cont would take over

PS: yes i know that last sentence sucked. my bad. dont hurt me.

guess what? we already have that. Its called the VR room.

or if thats not good enough, theres always locked continents. each empire usually has at least 1 at all times.

Well the towers in the sanctuary need use, you could always practice hotdrops on those.

Apart from that, I don't know quite what you had in mind.

The only problem with sanc and VR rooms is you cant fire your weapon. other than that they are good places to train but a place to fire would be better. i guess locked conts are good for that too.
