I haven't played planetside in months now, (I had to unistall it to make space for other things) I re-installed it today and found I have 16 days left of my subscription, so I booted it up and ran into a problem, when it starts to download resources it gets stuck at offlinetraining.pak and won't go any further. I've waited for hours with no change, any deas on how to solve this?

Come on, 45 views and nobody bothers to try to help me out? Somebody has to have some pity for me, unless the rumors are true, and the universe is out to get me! Its all a conspiricy!!!!

try going to the sony folder (C:\Program Files\Sony\Planetside\) by default and deleting offlinetraning.pak.
Then, run the patcher again and see if it gets any farther.

I'm no expert (just check the tech forum on my comp problems :tear: ), but check your Firewall and Virus settings. Last night I forgot to put my firewall on Low and kept it in Medium. Right when I just charged the Module and was walking away from the beam of light....BAM! "You have left the World" "Click OK" .....hmmmm...I've been playing on Medium for a little while now...about the same time I've had "packet loss"...I wonder if the two are realted.

Thanks for the Help, I'll try deleting offlinetraining and seeing if it re-downloads, and I know that it isn't my firewall, as I haven't changed any settings since the last time I've played, Well, I hope this works, thanks.

It didn't work, but I do have an idea for what it may be, it could be the beta version of SP2 (windows security patch), so I'll try to uninstall it
