Favorite Forum Software?

What is your favorite forum software. Remember the FREE factor and just overall features and easy configuration.
I'd have to say PHPBB+(hacked version of PHPBB I believe) for me...
Invision Trial is free with all of the features of the regular Invision except support and is also nice...

Although... I'm having trouble getting it set up on my new host. Anyone with any experience at this please reply so I can get back to you...

And my favorite forum software is Vb. It was the software used on the last two (only two for that matter) online forum communities I have really gotten into. The first was the Phantasy Star Online thread on GameFaqs.com back in the old school dereamcast PSO days. The second was of course PSU.

It was the kittens' idea, not mine. And what the kittens want, the kittens get. Even if it involves licking the water off my ears when i get out of the shower. Which one is trying to do right now.

Vb is nice. all the other ones seem to flashy and annoying.

And when i bleed the nighborhood animals all fly into the window fighting for an ounce of the pink and black blood.

I think it's a tie between Invasion and VBulletin but, I would use invasion because it's free.

especialy the Quick post thing

Admins can add a fast reply box to Invasioin boards as well.
