Agreed. My dad should load the pics off his digicam and onto his PC, so I can access them.

Beware, they are at like 2000x1600 resolution and 5.0 megapixels...i'll have to .gif them or something.

So, anyway, I was snorkeling off Marathon (one of the FL Keys). I did not see the shark, nor did my mom. However, my dad and brother both said it swam between us and below us.

It was (according to my dad) about five feet. This was NOT one of those bottom-hugging nurse sharks, it came out like a generic grey shark in the photo. It was *not* a massive uber Gray White. It was also a chicken, and ran when my dad chased it with the camera.

Which, by the way, is an Olympus digicam, 5.0 megapixels, with underwater housing.

There was also a barracuda, but it was like "OMG people...maybe if I hide near the bottom here and do nothing they won't see me."

We did, but we couldn't dive deep enough.

So, in summary, fuck you Dharkbayne. :D

However, I did have a bit of an injury this weekend. Later that day, leaving the beach at Bahia Honda (worst beach EVER, there is barely any sand, then 3 foot water for like 20 feet, then like 5 feet of water which was full of seaweed, sponges, and urchins), I decided to walk really fast in the 3 feet water like I was storming the beaches at Normandy.

When I fell.

I'm not sure exactly what happened, but I think I landed hard on my left leg while it was extended (bent forward), and it hurt like a MFer for 20 seconds, then when I moved it the pain goes away. Except I can't put too much pressure on it when it's extended. It should be that way for a few days.
