Okay for the past few days my computer has been under attack by super spyware. it somehow manages to reinstall itself with in a couple minutes of being delete. The google pop up blocker has been going nuts lately and has gotten over 300 pop ups today! How do I kill this super spyware??? Google toolbar has blocked 8 pop ups just in the time it took me to type this. NOW 9 AAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUGGGGGHHHHH :scared:
Look for .dll's. Or get Pest Patrol or somesuch.

What program are using? Make sure you use both Spyware Search & Destroy in conjunction to Adaware. If that doesn't help, then that's crazy stuff.

Use this: Adware Spyware Killer (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/)
It works very well, and its free.

Spybot search and destroy > Adaware.

Yea they are different - there are some evil ones that need to be destroyed manually in safe mode however.

MSconfig/ Startup/ turn off that program if you see it there/ restart, see if its there, if it is, try deleting it in safe mode.
^ worked for me one time when i had a virus that would restart my computer when i started it.

ummmm.......sledgefapper!
I hate safe mode, last time my computer kicked into that (which was just last month) we nearly lost the whole computer(again).

There's a really, really helpful program which I use called jv16 Power Tools. I've forgotten the web address, but just type in 'Macecraft Software' in Google. It should come up with something.

okay after much painful work I think I got most of it. My internet works well I only get a pop up or two a minute or so which is better than the 8 I was getting in 30 seconds. Adaware keeps getting finding more and more, in one sweep it found 263 total problems.

That reminds me, I should run Housecall and Spybot on my boss's computer and my work computer. THey had a link saved in the favorites called "ERASE DEBT NOW!" ... um, I don't think so....

I've had a few that I've had to go into the registry and kill. It's amazing that people could have the time and smarts to put something like that together, and the lack of moral conviction that then allow them to use it.
