The other night... Corr and Eine had the brilliant idea that they should call me, problem being they live in California while I live in Philadelphia...

So today my father got the cell phone bill and lo and behold there lies the number and the charge for a cross country call ...

Dad: So I just got your cell phone bill...
Me: Wanna cookie?
Dad: So tell me who do you know in California?
Me (suprised, oh-shit-like look): Wh- what?
Dad: No I'm just wondering what this number on yuor bill is...
Me: Er... well... uh... friends?
Dad: They ain't your friends...
Me (skeptical): What? Why's that?
Dad: Cause friends wouldn't let you lose your cell phone for a month...

What the hell kind of cell phone company are you with that charges for long distance calls within the country? Not to mention, if they called you, there shouldn't be any charge, save for the use of wireless minutes.

About 2 years ago my close friend racked up a 300 dollar bill for phone sex. He didn't leave his room until summer.

I used to rack up $300 a month phone bills when I was engaged and the fiancee lived back home and I was in Daytona for college. It didn't make my paychecks a very happy thing.

when I went to the DR in january with a bunch of friends, I let them use my cell phone to call home. when I got back a week later, was a hell of a phone bill. $800+. I went around, collecting dues from everyone, one phone call at a time. what a journey taht was. I didnt get some of it until about a couple weeks ago.

Oooh, It's going to suck to be my brother.

He dialed a phone sex line for like 2 seconds.

It's not the money I'm concerned about, it's the fact that 1-900-Sex-6969 is going to be on the phone bill.

But you know what's even funnier:

I felt like calling Stry the other day, so i call. He picks up but the reception dies out and i lose him.

I call again like 10 mins later, and a chick picks up. I start to say, "Hey, can i talk to--" when i realize, wtf am i going to say? "Can i talk to Strygun?" So i hang up.

I can again later and Stry finally picks up. The converstion goes like this:

Stry: Hello?
ten24: Hey, it's 1024.
S:Uh, hey. What's up?
t:Nothin. You busy?
S:Ya, kinda. Why?
t:Eh, nothin, i was just bored, wondering if you wanted to do something.
S:*cracks up* You're fucking crazy man.
t: Heh. Well, alright, later.
S:*still laughing* later, man.

I wonder if the same thing will happen to Stry. :)
