newb question

I just got PS and it seems like everyone can see farther than me past the fog. Is it just me or are they just firing blindly? I think it may have to do with my low settings but is there any way to get rid of the fog that only lets me see so far?? :confused:

I would recommend going into the "Video" settings and selecting the "Recommended Settings" button. The game will set the optimized graphics level based on your PC's specifications. Save it and see if that helps! Good luck! :)

You can also go to the video options after you save the recommended settings and turn up your viewing distance to see if that helps even more.

TBH, you really don't need past it past 3/4 of an inch.

Go to video options and set them to custom then move the viewing distance bar to where you want it. Be warned it could increase lag

Unless it has been changed, you will render everything regardless of the setting, so you might as well have it as high as it goes. When its all the way down it isn't sposed to though.

Anyone know if this is still true?
