Worst moments in Lag/CTD History

Playing Planetside we've all encountered abit of Lag and maybe a few Crashes to the Desktop. Just out of curiosity what happened after said lag spike or crash occured? Did your character die? Did you fly your galaxy into a group of enemies? Post yours here.

Mine just happened to occur. I was zoomed in on a lancer firing on a damaged thunderer. I was sure of finishing it when i saw both turrets turn to me and fire. My screen froze just as both shots were about to hit me. I heard my death scream but my screen was still frozen on the gigantic pieces of metal about to obliterate me. I then prompty crashed back to my desktop.

when my char was a noob and waiting for those big caps only to CTD right before hack goes through and miss out on the 3k hack.

When I Lag out a bit right in the middle of a snipeing round. I come back and see that i killed not only the guy i was aiming at, but also a cloaker and another guy (all perfectly aligned (o_O)

When I lag JUST enough to keep the bullets from hitting me, but i can stil hit the enemy.

When I CTD right at my mossy shoots the last few rounds to kill a fully loaded Gal (luckiest bastards in the game, they were...).

When I was squad leader waiting for a big hack worth a lot of CEP then crashing and when I got back in I missed the CEP and only got the BEP.

My computer sucks so bad, I get the worse lag. These aren't like server lag though more like freezes. One time while I was in a tank with one of my friends I started to lag and freeze (since there was more then 3 people on the screen :rolleyes: ) and my friend would be like SHOOT DAMN YOU SHOOT!!! AAAHHHH :mad: GRRRRAAAHHH! :mad: . And I couldn't even type back until he finally booted me out of the tank and eventually blew up, then I had to explain to him "Oh well my computer sucks."

Taunting the almost finished guy staying inside the warpgate on foot. He makes a move i lag and i die a minute later after my computer wipes its ass from taking that giant crap.

When I was resecuring an almost-captured base back in November, I CTDed. I curse my computer to this day for fucking up.

Crashes, well hmmmm, i've never experienced a crash in my entire ps gaming life untill the deliverer varaint patch. Doing absolutly nothg, maybe flying or running, flash of blue and my computer reboots. Today it happened 3 times within an hour and i missed really big bep for a base. TICKED THE SHIT OUTA ME!

I ctd when i was HART'ing down, logged back in to find myself in the clouds, falling, and without a Drop pod or a enertia-damperer.
:eek: I looked down and saw a enemy trooper running about, so i took out my pulsar and shot him, he kept looking around for me, i kept doing until he was almost dead, then i hit the ground and died. :lol:

^^ That happened to me once, except I survived.

One time I crashed when I was HART'ing down, and when I came back, I was actually inside of the drop pod on the ground, except it hadn't opened up yet! I was able to clip through the "doors" of the drop pod, and I saw that I received the dialogue "Press G to mount the vehicle as the driver", as there was the steering wheel symbol. I pressed G, and the drop pod opens and deconstructs.
