Anyone gonna see? It looks pretty good. For those that aren't familiar, it's kinda like the Terminator series. Mankind creates robots, thinking the robots will serve and help humanity, thinking they are in control. Then the robots rebel and start killing people, because they, for some reason, were made to be damn good at killing.

Except the Terminator series is about Terminators, cyborgs designed by robots to kill humans. I, Robot is completely different. There's a huge ass army of them and they kill. Dunno if I'm gonna see it though.

Yeah, it looks lame. Looks like I've seen something eight million times already in different incarnations. PASS!

Asimov isn't just rolling over, his chest is glowing red and he's coming to kill Will Smith.

Robots, he created this story originally. Except it had nothing to do with Will Smith.

I can't believe Will Smith and Martin Lawrence still get hired.

I'm agreeing with Squeeky here, strange, but as soon as I saw the preview I thought Matrix rip off, but that's just me.

It's based on the book, if anything The Matrix ripped it off.

Yeah, before starting with all the "OMG RIPOFF" routine, just remember that this story came first. Although it was pretty dense of them to use the Matrix Revolutions soundtrack in their I, Robot trailers. I mean, jesus - do they think that's going to help with such ripoff accusations?

I robot was writin ages before the Matrix was even first thought up ill bet, i havent read I Robot, or any of Asimovs Series, i have however read many of his short stories, and i must say, that man is one of, if not THE best author i have ever read. ill be starting on his Foundation series sometime, mabey before i start Enders Game, dunno. its about a Civilizations rise and fall, from first becoming a type 1 civilization, till a type 3, and then its downfall. BTW, if you dont know the types of Civilizations ill explain

Type 0, many Nation states, primitive technology, use fosil fules

Type 1, single goverment, no useage of fossil fuels, masters of the earth, able to control weather

Type 2, masters of a solar system and able to use the power of the sun, not though means of Solar Panels that is, and prehaps be living on more than one body in the solar system, say Space colonies, or on a moon, ect.

Type 3, harnessing the power of a entire galaxy, on many different worlds.

That classification was created by a russian guy back in the day.
