Now, you all know of my new job (with the blasted POS that won't let me on IRC). So anyway... today we had gone out to lunch, to a place just down the road beyond the Blue Route... we were out for a good 45 minutes. Upon our return to the office everyone is standing on the lawn, at this point the three of us that were out at lunch are mindnumbingly confused. Lookin around we notice much more people holding signs saying 'Bush Lies', stuff along those lines... now we are even more confused, when who should come out of the Villanova University 'Pavilion'... none other then President Bush. So we got these protestors dancing around in their little circle, flashing anti-bush signs and wavng american flags when a small fight breaks out between my friend, Jim, and one of the protestors... appearently Jim didn't take much a liking to the protest... punches are thrown, I get in the middle of the fight trying to break it up when who should encounter me but one of those scary guys in the black suits... so anyway, guess who's hand I go to shake today....

It could be cool, or suckage, depending on your views.

But it not a thing that happens every day, to its neat.

It's cool anyways, not everyone gets to shake the president's hand.

Villanova/St. Davids area of Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia... he was appearently speaking here today... or he might've been closer to the city... don't know why he would be out this way though if he was...

My dad has met him twice, my dad is Delta ground control supervisor at the airport, and Delta handles Air Force One from time to time...

It's only called Air Force One when the President is actually on-board.

I always thought that'd be really cool to hear them transmit on the tower frequency :groovy:

Yea my dad said it was weird hearing the planes callsign on the radio... he doesn't lie it though... he has to figure out how long to delay planes and how long to have tower keep planes circling... 'It throws off a well-oiled machine'

My mom was actually at an airport once, waiting on a late flight for a business flight. She looked out of the glass windows, and realized that there were fighters circling the airport (She thought they were F-16s but she wasn't positive). She asked somebody later and it turned out air force one had to land for a moment.
